These essential oils are helpful in depression:
Clary Sage
Lavender
Marjoram
Frankincense
Camomile
Ylang-ylang
Sandalwood
You can use the above mentioned essential oils in the bath - up to ten drops in a full tub.
Or inhale them neat, or use in a burner or vaporizer.
Or add 12 drops to 100 ml of a carrier oil for massage.
A blend of lavender, clary sage and camomile is good for massage.
Aromatherapy oils can be added to a small dish of water to
spread the scent into the air. These oils can also be added
to massage oils and applied to the skin in that manner. For
feelings of depression, use bergamot, lavender, and
ylang-ylang.
