When viewing the list of members currently on-line (eg at the bottom of the 'Forum' link), the names of some members appear with a + sign next to them (to the right of their name, in white). Now it so happens that in my experience, the members for whom this sign appears are positive members, full of plusses and all...

but...

Why is it so?

I have a theory but am too lazy to check.

Has the poll function been disabled?

I was looking for the poll option at the bottom of a new thread in creation and could not locate it. This is not the first thing I have forgotten. But I actually haven't seen a good poll of late, and mine was to be a useful one.

Anyone with a better memory than me?

No the poll function has not been disabled. When you go to create a new thread, check the box that says "Yes, post a poll with this thread." Make sure to change the number of options, and you will be taken to a page where you can choose what the options are.

I'm pretty much a techno dummy. Can someone please tell me how to insert a smiley into a post? I tried to do so by the insert image and pasting the url but it didn't work.

Also, whoever took away my Known Sock or Troll please put it back. I like it!

Instead of posting a quick reply try the "Go Advanced" button then you can use the smilies there or open up the whole darn lot of them.

Then it's click to use.
