Well, I'd tend to think that if skunk was served with papers and had to lawyer up to defend his ass in court against a legal (not civil) liability, it would be fixed according to what the lawyer suggests...

that might be deletion, bannings etc...

so IMHO, in rare instances will we have to do something to 'protect the site' itself... BE has probably come closest to causing real damage...

im not really sure why anyone is disgruntled about two things.
1. moderation, (perceived or otherwise).
2. the content.
first off when amkon began it was only a chat room with about a dozen of our favorite threads that were either CT or alternative in nature. its always been more of a community chat room except the discussions were often topics that you wouldnt normally chat about with folk in RL.
its never been a full blown CT forum like ats or glp or stfu or anywhere else for that matter, we never wanted it to be like them.
second, the whole point of the past couple of years was for the forum to reach a point in its existence that there would be no need whatsoever for moderators or admins to become involved in anything other than site maintenance and or removing gore or pron that some drive by troll might post.
thats it.
no bannings, no moving people into time outs, no forcing people to post content that the admins want or that other members want, no steering discussion.
if you dont like what someone says then dont read their posts or threads. if you dont like that aamkon isnt serious enough then post your serious shit at ats (lol). if you think amkon is too serious then post your shit at davidicke forums (hehe).
