http://ebaumsworld.com used to be a good place to waste time, I think they pretty much killed it after they booted ebaum though (if I'm remembering correctly).

http://newgrounds.com is decent too.

I loved World War 2.5 (http://www.idleworm.com/nws/2002/11/iraq2.shtml) when it was released. He assumed that Saddam really had WMD, but other than that - i knew and time tells that he was spot on.
