One of those dreams that felt 'almost real'

I had a 1/2 decent sleep last night. For a change. Pretty sure I dreamt other dreams, but this one was at the tail end of my REM's.

~~~~~~~~
Summertime June 18/19
I'm biking on what seemed like an old 10 speed. Looked like something from out of the 70's. And believe me...it really felt like I was in that era too. lolol
The handlebars were awkward but worked.
The bike felt like it was meant for someone taller than me. I didn't feel like I owned it all. When I stopped peddling, and put my feet down on the pavement, it felt as though the seat was positioned higher and my feet barely touched the ground to steady myself.
When I got back on the bike and started riding again, I could see a wonderful panoramic view of my city, except there were far too few houses along streets (where there should be) and some streets didn't have any houses at all. What the!?!?
I was trying to reconcile this in my dream. I know the layout of my city; what landmarks 'should' be there and what shouldn't, but I didn't see anything that I recognized. Yet, it was the same city. lol
Anyways...as I'm trekking along in my own merry way (having a ball actually) I stopped and looked off into the distance on my right side. What caught my eye was a huge object in the sky (just above the horizon)
Now the only way I can describe it, is that it looked like a faded out moon (somewhat dark) and there was a dark hazy mass circling it. Seemed to be 'off in the distance' - further than where our moon normally lays in the sky, yet it also seemed to be approaching. How? I don't know. I felt a tremendous 'pull' from it.
Before I knew it the ground shook slightly and my eyes were diverted southward to (believe it or not) a place called 'Chessa peake bay'
Afterwards...
There was a particular street...around (Guelph and Highway 5?) - basically at a crossroads, and I was deciding which way to turn...
Then I woke up.
I'll have to admit, it won't be the song that'll drive me nuts, but wondering if I'm going to be riding around nude on the bike in the next dream I have :p
I COULD however, focus on lucid dreaming and imagine myself riding around in the buff.
But I don't want to scare the shit out of my dream friends. lololol
how in the hell do you remember your dreams anyway?
I very very rarely ever remember them... sounds like you frequently remember yours.
I don't know man. Seriously. But I do.
It's like a whole other world to me when I lay my head on the pilllow. I go from this dream world to the next. May be that's what we really live in. Two worlds at once.
I read somewhere (another tidbit to drudge up for perusal) whereby the 'first-borns' seem to remember their dreams more so than their younger siblings. Not to say that the younger ones don't recall indepth dreams, but there was a survey done somewhere....
Then again, may be I have the ability to 'recall' things better then some. Well...lolol depending on the info itself (might be a factor) and the importance one deems that info to be. Direct corrulation? Everyone's synapsis is different.
For instance, I remember some dreams I had when I was 3, 4, 5, yrs old. Like it was yesterday. I guess the older we get (and forget) doesn't apply in this case...lolol.
Depends on why I want to compartmentalize...so to speak. If something is meaningful or just basically 'prods' me to wanting to keep that thought, then I roll with the punches :)
I don't have to make any effort sometimes....it just happens. I should be so lucky I guess.
For example: If someone told me their birthday several years ago, and they told me a few times (sometimes even just once), I'll remember it several years later. I might forget certain instances surrounding that person, but I could look at them at say, "You're birthday is (such n' such day) and they'll look at me at say, "WOW.. how did you remember that?!!?"
I guess what ever matters to people, and sometimes I try to take a certain something something away from the conversation to remember them by. For the most part, I try to remember something 'good' about them, and not just focus on the bad aspects. Life's too short, and when you get to my age (fuck...it wasn't too long ago when older peeps would say that to me and I would shrudge it off with a 'yah yah')
Anyways....I ramble too much man :p
With you Pack, I remember how you thought it nice that I mentioned the 'Theremin' when you first joined amkon.
That's probably why I associated this song WITH YOU:
You were actually tapped into yourself in the multiverse, the planet you saw was an eclipted Niburu approaching from the south. And the bike was a Huffy 12speed.
