LAByrinth Theater Company is now accepting applications for apprentices for their 2010 Summer Intensive.
This is a good gig, tons of fun, and, if you're looking for a career in theater OR film, a massive step up the ladder.
Applications must be received by April 16th, 2010.

You don't have to be a resident of New York, or even America, for that matter. You have to be able to drive and old enough to buy booze 'cause, if accepted, One of your jobs will be to make numerous booze runs for people.... and if you're there, then you're one of "The People" so you'll get to consume some of said booze.... They work and party HARD for those two weeks.
If accepted, Housing and grub is provided, all you gotta do is get your ass to nyc, then do what you're told for the following 15 days....
consider it a working holiday with many fringe benefits...
You may have noticed, there is NO MENTION of this apprentice call on the website... we do an eblast to sPesHuL people only...

sex, drugs, rock and roll, lotsa booze? yes to some and maybe to all depending... they get pretty wild up there sometimes.

forget about it. It's an Apprenticeship... which is unpaid.
If you're a Very Good apprentice, they Might consider you for an Internship, which is also unpaid.
The two gigs both Apprenticeships and Internships have going for them are:
Experience,
and
Networking.
If that ain't enough for you, then don't bother.
