Guinnessford, I see what you are getting at. However, I don't think that this was an operation. The Air Force was already on patrol. Whether it is the Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve or regular Air Force, we have planes in the air full time since 9-11.

If you want clues to a possible "operation", pay attention to the "terror" arrests made by the feds. "White supremicists" planning anti government attacks(wink). Have you seen how the MSM paints tax protesters, as racists? If the government is planning something, it seems more likely to be something where they have a pretense to confiscate privately owned , weapons. Once that happens, The FEDS can do whatever they want!

The jets were scrambled as a precaution I believe, just in case of some kind of takeover. The crew was probably so freaked out that they just assumed the worst.
