hey lex... time slips past and it slips fast...

just getting settled into my new digs. finally got internet today, what a crock THAT was, sheesh. Apparently you need super duper top secret clearance or something before they will hook you up in this neck of the woods. I swear, I could get a job with the feds with less of a 'background check' than COX gave me, the freeks.

I suspect I'll be drifting back into the swing of things over the next month or so... right now everything is still pretty much in boxes...

keep up with the times, old man. Nola and I are in NOLA now. Flooded out shacks and trailer trash are the Norm here. I fit right in.

Nola's school is half a block off of Bourbon Street. If the weather is good (which has been more often than not since we got here) then we usually take the streetcar home, which means a walk up Bourbon or Royal street, what with alla the street performers and tourists and stuff...

In the few weeks that we've been here she's already managed to pick up a pretty good drawl and become Insanely Popular down in the quarter.

She scored a truck load of booty during Mardi Gras...

This town suits us.
