What is Freedom

What is freedom? are you born with it or is it granted to you from where you are from, is it earned? can you buy it?

An insight from my self i hope you will enjoy the trip......

Freedom is something you have from the birth, the second you arrive to this world, yes you are free, no one owns you,
if some one tells you to follow a path blindly would you do it? or would you explore it by all means you have?

in the socaity we all live in let it be United States Of America or any other country

you are FREE, you have the freedom of choise to do what ever you want or tobecome who ever you want, there is no one who can tell you that you dont have the rights,

My obeservations what i have made this will hurt most of the readers, You have given up that last thing you had , its called Freedom, you are slaves to various factions.

What are these various factions?

1.Media

2. The powers what controlls the media(ELITE)

Freedom cant be bought with any kind of resources, IF you think you can buy it then you are wrong, it cant be earned too, you are FREE.

The path what the People walk on is not really so free what you think, i will prove and bust that bubble right now.

1. Dication of what is right in the eyes of governement

2. it startes allready in the kindergarten(Horrifed yet?)

3.schools, they teach you what they want you to learn or what you think is right? where is the freedom of choise there? its not you need to take it in all the LIES they want to teach you

4.Commercials, Brainwashing programs for you ( Electronical brainwashing messing with brain waves) They tell you what YOU need and have to BUY!!!

The Freedom of choise, is something you have USE it, the elite dont like this, but it is your OWN choise not theirs....

Humans has one funny little twist once they realize they are free they give it up so easily, to some else or something to controll them.

So why not start on that Right PATH you have the choise, USE it DO it and live your LIFE FREE as it is meant to be....

remember this if you are negative, Negativity will come to you, and if you are happy, Happyness will come to you

And if you live your life in Free, it will be FREE, No one OWNS you, Not even your parents, they can only be a stewart among the way they cant maintance an ownership of you, because you where free from the start.

this may rise questions i cant answer on, so be patient if you wish to have an answer of what i mean, some might understand this others might never do.

But i wish the best to all as allways

( i made this post in shtf, and i did get some xtinaity crap there, fuckin MJ and hes idiocy)

I only want two things. Time freedom and financial freedom.

Time freedom to do the things I want and the things I find interesting because life is too short to waste on writing reports. I want the time to take up a new hobby, to learn a new language, to visit another country.

But all the time in the world is useless without financial freedom. I want to be free to buy what I'd like, free to settle all my expenses without having to worry where the next lump of cash to pay all the bills will come from. I want the freedom to be able to move to another country without having to worry if I can afford it.

Because if you have these two freedoms, you don't really need anything else.

I was in a crappy part of Hemstead on Long Island (most of Hemstead is fairly crappy, at least) and saw a homeless guy laying on the sidewalk, pants pulled down, pissing straight up and laughing. That is about as free as a person gets.

Freedom is a a state of mind my mind is free to wander where it will to wonder where it will at it's will will is all the freedom I need, it's the choices we make with that freedom that are the problem here. To exact your freedom of will against another is also freedom but at what cost. Are you still free if you define your right to this freedom if it comes at the cost of another persons particular form of freedom.
So the real question is do you have the right to be free and what will you do with this freedom you so cherish........

From the OP it sounds almost if you have read one of my essays on freedom.

It is not something that can be earned, or bought, or given to you by another. It is something realized. Once you understand that you a free nobody can take it away, no chains can impede it , no ideology can stop it. Freedom realized is eternal freedom.

Is freedom life without consequences? Or is freedom life with responsibility? Is it the giant fuck you to the rest of society? Or is it the concept of self-control, compromise, compassion and willingness to share?

We know what freedom is not, but do we really know what it is? The opposite of oppression is freedom.

Humans have not evolved to the point of granting freedom to another if it means we have to sacrifice our wants. But we may be getting there. That's a big maybe.

boycotteverything
03-12-2010, 12:18 PM
I think Janis said it best. (Actually the words were written by Chris Kristofferson as I recall..) Freedom is freedom from categorical error- such as possession and consumption. If it's a matter of responsibility it is first to yourself. Socrates approached it as a matter of 'forgetting' the sum total of all the illusions that we unknowingly appropriate for ourselves. The first step for him was self examination- and without that process, he said, life is not worth living. So what is freedom? It is above all else the freedom from the aggregation of lies that we have become. True freedom is the breaking of the idols of the mind.

'State of mind' is true. A clear one being essential. And then there are two principles of freedom we're considering: freedom to and freedom from. It's actually a big issue. Idiosyncratic descriptions don't serve the larger philosophical issue. But hey- no-one has accused the guy of being a particularly deep thinker. and his 'lol' response speaks volumes about that.

It's simple and difficult to the same time. Your freedom is not to impose on some one else. That's what the whole rule / law situation revolves around. And those rules a placed and keep growing because people find it difficult to see and follow that simple fact.

freedom to me is any number of things.
being able to hop in the car with the dogs and just drive out bush and watch them run.
being able to catch up with mates at anytime i like.
being able to afford to give my kids a better education than i got.
having an online home like amkon where i can say and do as i please without having to conform to someone elses rules.
being able to let my kids walk down the street to the playground and not have to worry about them getting caught in a drive by crossfire.
ultimately lifestyle "freedom" is what makes you happy i think, its not necesarily a lack of rules or boundaries, at least thats the way i see it.
if your talking about freedom of speech then thats a whole different ball game.

Freedom is...

~ Running around without a bra on and no cares in the world.

~ Sitting in the park on a sunny day, smoking a ciggy/drinking tea and watching all the souls go about their business, and just thinking about nothing in particlular.

~ Knowing that you're not famous and don't have to be bombarded with fans looking for an autograph.

~ Getting in the car and driving til you get lost.

~ Speaking your mind.

~ Decide whether I want to get up in the morning, or laze around for a bit longer.

~ Being one's own boss and never having to punch a time-clock. Taking breaks whenever I choose.

~ Reading whatever material I decide without it having to be censored.

~ Practice Spirituality in my own way.

~ Loving another person and knowing that they accept 'you' as you are.

~ Having whatever education I choose. This is 'key' in some parts of the world, especially if you're a woman.

~ My imagination.

~ Not being a total slave to my whims.
