I don't pull LAB cards on a whim or for grins and giggles... I've been working with these folks for eight years now, and they are Constantly being schmoozed and glad handed by people Wanting something from them. It's taken me a Loooong time to earn their trust, and I don't wanna blow that, ya know? I've only asked LAB folks for a couple things in my life, and since I don't have a history of always trying to Get Something from them, when I actually DO ask, they stop, and give me the time of day. It's amazing to have someone like Phil or John actually Read something that I've written, give me the low down on it, maybe pass it on to someone else...

I just ain't gonna blow that. I like having them as friends, and nothing fucks up a friendship faster than Work stuff, ya know?
