Oi....i read them too.
I doubt that KIWI, considering the treatment Lear received.
I certainly dont advocate arse-licking toward anyone.... to try and mantain site traffic.. (not claiming John did lift the stats either) but it was via him I found my way here, and thought at the time it must be good for this little joint to have someone so well known to be posting here, whether you agree with some, all, or indeed none of his theories,
I dont think it fair to ask anyone on a "conspiracy" site for proof of their claims, for one thing, were it even possible, it would then become a "fact".... and no longer valid as a conspiracy topic

John Lear has one thing on every CT icon: he stepped into AmKongon and kept coming back for more (until it was all wiped out).
May the rest of them have the balls.

stirs them in a pot, and serves

I got it from the library, a while back.
Along with Graham Hancocks book.
(can't remember the name, off-hand)
I read them a got what I just posted.
Pretty sure I didn't see the word "theory"
in either.
But, it's been a while since I've read them.

Well- let me help you out on the nature of the enquiry (http://www.forbiddenarcheology.com/).
http://www.forbiddenarcheology.com/gorlla.jpg
Depiction of Australopithecus afarensis
Forbidden Archeology: The Hidden History of the Human Race presents a representative sample of this anomalous evidence suggesting that humans have been on the earth for millions of years, ,just as the ancient Sanskrit writings of the Vedic literatures describe. The Vedic histories inform us that humans have existed since the beginning of the day of Brahma, about 2 billion years ago.
Cremo and Thompson conclude that even the conventionally accepted evidence does not offer a cohesive picture of the missing link; instead, the multiplicity of proposed evolutionary linkages among the hominids in Africa creates a very confusing scheme of human evolution. They call for a drastic revision of the now-dominant assumptions about human origins.

Seems like pretty interesting stuff... Forbidden archaeology is probably my favourite topic. I wonder how this guy matches up with Hatcher Childress et al.
Does anyone have a link to the archived show, not on youtube cos I can't access that...
Sorry didn't read the whole thread maybe it was posted earlier.

Never heard of Fort... I'll check him out.
My feeling when I listened to Childress was that he knew more than he was letting it on but was sitting on the fringe fence so as not to stray too far and have people think he's a nutjob.

Homo sapiens have been around for half a million years.
The fossil record of humanoids goes back millions of years.
No one has ever suggested that homo sapiens were the first sentient humanoids, and anyone who does has a long row to hoe to prove it.
I've said before that there's fundamental flaws in some of Cremo's research, but to dismiss it all for the few flaws is to self-impose your own ignorance.

You don't do much for your position when your arguments are constructed like shit.
You're just being lazy and substituting that for reality.
That's not being a shill or a debunker: that is nothing short of the classic M.O. of a conspiracy nutball.

agreed.
there is no doubt in my mind that we existed in some type of "civilization" long before current mainstream thought would have us believe.
2 billion years though is pushing the envelope a bit. :D

i should have added that neither has it been proven authentic?
