I was raised to not see colour, but people themselves. The only difference I see is that I am female and you are male.

What you like and what I like do not matter what colour our skin is. One of my kids likes Rap, the other doesn't. One of my kids likes to wear baggy clothes, the other wears tight fitting nice clothes. It is what THEY like to do and the colour of their skin is really quite irrelevant.
