Several times tonight I have tried to get on to pirate bay and I can't. I notice that they have been added to AVGs threat list.
IS this a firefox issue for me or is there site down?

I was going to post a thread about this... I've never used pirtate bay but I had a few questions about torrents.
What's the best torrent site out there for torrent noobs? Im in a cybercafe so keep having to redownload the software.

WTF?!?! I can't get onto monova either. Not in firefox or IE Bitreactor is also having trouble.
I went to torrentfreak and clicked on a few of there links.. Some worked and some did not.
So has a torrent clamp down begun or am I missing something?

MediaSentry has previously done denial of service attacks on alternative media sites such as Revision3 (http://revision3.com/blog/2008/05/29/inside-the-attack-that-crippled-revision3/).
We are currently also being bothered by a criminal corporation called BayTSP (https://en.xiandos.info/BayTSP) who are spamming bogous DMCA notices regarding files we never heard of to our US ISP.
Could this extend into a multiverse of torrent servers?
