As far as help goes, sheeit, if anyone has some used wheels they dont rock anymore, I'll buy a bus ticket to get there.

You don't have insurance to cover that I assume? That really sucks.
Consider it a lesson learned till you get a new ride..if you hear a squeak, check it out.
Iam the queen of not paying attention to things like that and have had more stuff break on me than I can count.
I hope you have a resolution to your problem soon.

Liability only, all I could afford. I'm homeless, living out of the car for the most part.
I've had heater fans go squeaking on and on for years. Never thought this would happen, so fast especially. Usually you smell carbons or something for a while if something like that is really gonna cause a problem like that.

I wont find out until I pull the dash on Monday. But with the amount of smoke and glazing on the glass, I'm guessing so.

I'm gonna have my mechanic rip the dash out on Monday to see what we're working with. But if its more than a few hundred bucks, I'm sunk. Which I can pretty much gurantee. However, he might be able to give me more than scrap value on trade with some clunker he has shitting there at his shop.

So you have not only lost your car, but home as well..oh that truly blows.
I'm hoping the old "When a door closes" saying comes into play for you.

sounds like you need a real cheap panel van or an old combi van type of thing.
would be much better than living out a sedan (im assuming you are, by the posts ive read)
of course money is always a problem i understand that, even for a cheap clunker.
just sayin what you probably already know ;)
i hope it turns out well for ya
