There'd probably be a high drop out rate...
I'm not talking about recruiting on ATS or 411...
Instead of donating direct to the site anyone who wanted could buy some cheap banner clickthroughs on a related site.... I was thinking an Industrial Hemp forum.

A few of us could take youtube handles:

whatever....
Then we could pick a high traffic youtube video and drop a load of comments on it...
Have a conversation without spamming....
Maybe people would be intrigued by a bunch of people showing up with a related handle...
There are probably a lot of other things we could do for free and little effort... Might be worth 15 minutes...

Quality over quantity. I honestly think that will work best in the long run.

Regular, long time (hahahaha) members shouldn't worry too much about your party being spoiled by an influx of new members. :D
You guys are a territorial virtual gang of thugs. Only the very stupid, lonely, bored or antagonistic would ever consider hanging around after you people are through chopping them to bits. So, recruit from those demographics for the best chance of success at increasing your membership base.
I find you all very entertaining. Its like an interactive theatre production around here. What makes it even more thrilling is the knowledge that you all take yourselves so seriously.
My usefulness as a target for some of this site's members serves an ultimate purpose. You'll figure it out eventually.

which group do you belong to ?
we have tried recruiting through youtube, myspace, facebook, twitter etc etc etc. there are amkondotnet users at those places already i think yyou'll find.
we never really got members that way, maybe one or two.
word of mouth and dumb luck seem to be the best way of recruiting people to amkon.
