This email is being sent to everyone on John’s Emailing list, professional and personal as I don’t know who is who. Im working down the list. Give me time.


John was involved in a serious car accident, along with a friend on Thursday morning. Whilst I dont have full details as yet, he may lose an eye, has a punctured lung and various other injuries.

RE: Work.
It is obvious John wont be able to be in the studio for some substantial time. I’ll be talking to Ken and Phil this morning about what can and cant be done, started or finished.
Ken or Phil will contact ‘Label’ agents about their respective work.
However, any ‘Hot’ work currently on the go involving overdubbing or BV’s will be put on hold. I will find out if it can be transferred to other studios and will await artists or band’s to contact me. Any pre production work will be returned or forwarded on to other studio’s.
There is a lot of Post production stuff with little work left to be finished which I suspect Ken and Phil can sort out.
Any work unstarted will be returned to the artist or Band.

If you know of anyone who knows John and doesn’t know of the accident, please inform them and ask them to contact me, only if it is important.

Yeah physically I feel I'm getting better but I just feel so bloody lethargic and useless. Its the lethargy and depression thats a killer.

Christmas? well we'd already planned a quiet one so the accident was an even better excuse not to have my home wrecked by other peoples kids.

You know, I never realised how damned boring daytime TV was. I know now.

Got up and got dressed this morning for the first time in ages.
Fucking unbelievably painfull, but I'm determined to cut down on the morphine bit by bit. Fortunately its oral Morphine but still strong. Im going to try switching to a Paracetomol based painkiller on Boxing day. And (dont tell the wife) its the only way to get a decent cup of tea.!

Certainly impressed the neighbours when they turned up for a drink.

Having removed a load of bandage and plaster and crap from my hand I can now type with my finger instead of a Biro stuffed down the plaster. I still cant get the hand of wanking with my left hand but I'm working on it.

My eye is still swollen up to the size of a tennis ball and I fear I might lose it, but Ive always fancied having a luminous glass eye to scare kids with so all is not lost.

Physically Im recovering, mentaly not so good. I'll pop in from time to time.
