I've decided to take a break from the administration role that i have filled here at Amkon for nearly 2 years now.
The latest drama has nothing to do with my decision other than it was a small straw added to the stack.
Thanks to all of you for putting up with me and my shit for so long. :)
I think the forum has reached a point in it's existence that a minimilist staff needs to be in charge of the behind the scenes stuff, most of it is technical maintenance and housekeeping of which i've never done much.
I don't want to be the guy that hangs around forever just because i was here from the start or there be any doubt at all that i deserve to be in that role for any reason other than my ability to do the job well.
I have the utmost confidence in Fox, BK, Skunk and Pack being able to run things from an administrative perspective and for the forums ideals to remain as a haven for freedom of expression.
I hope i've helped to leave something in place that we can all be proud of.

It's been hell fun, i like what amkon has become, and i'm proud of the part i've played in it.

The only other time i used it was at ATS as well.
I ignored someone that really annoyed me. After about a week, i had to take a peak and realized it was my own weakness that caused the button to be activated.
IEF annoyed me and I forgot the lesson that I learned prior.
Someone quoted him today and i saw value in what IEF posted.
He is off of ignore never to return.

haha...i used it to ignore wraith back at atsoh- that asshat. he's the shit stirrer who accused me of calling you a nazi and started brush fire that never went out. anyway- i'm against this decision of yours. being the admin doesn't imply that you need to be totally involved in day to day operations. the fact that this place will go on without a replacement testifies to the truth of that. you know i'm a bigtime 'continuity' guy (i guess i established that ad nauseum recently) and so i'm for continuation in this case too. in terms of your importance to the site- involved or distant, it it critical. why? because you are the control rod in the reactor- with all that that implies. so i'd ask you to reconsider. i love to refer to this dysfunctional parlor as, "Jasn's project" but in truth it would be more apt to say that it is, "Monkey's project." The one birthed it but the other raised it. It's a sort of deism/ theism conundrum writ small. so- i'd just say this: screw your family, your job, your toad licking and your wombat schtupping. amkon needs you too.

@BE. i'm really proud of what amkon has become. it's a good time to sit back and enjoy it.
in truth if it requires me to remain as an admin then it's not the beast it should be.
the forum ought to be self sufficient now.
