The pyramid....
I remembe a long time ago, when I was a wee pup.... I would have nightmares. I'd be falling through an abyss of blackness interrupted by algebra equations.....
I finally remembered the end of the nightmare... and as a kid, it was only scary because I didn't understand it.
The end of the nightmare was the appearance of a red pyramid with a big eye on a green background, and the capstone would pop off, and it would sing this creepy song....
Well I saw the pyramid again, and the pyramid was happy to be awake.... because the pyramid was I.

Meet the Dali Lama some years back now had an amazing impact on me at that moment ....and still has .....But that night after meeting him I had the most vivid dream I have ever had. In my dream I was walking down a long road it was like a surrealist landscape vivid colours and morphic objects that grew and changed before my eyes. At this point I was awe stuck at the beauty before me, clouds formed into strange animals and leaped and turned above and around me then my attention was drawn away from the spectacle by a childs laughter. Looking down I saw it was my son in my arms and as i looked into his laughing eyes, they began to burn with a sparkling light like when you see the flash of a diamond in the sunlight. then I heard a strange little cough at my side lookingto my right I am supprise to see the Dali Lama st my side with his chuckling laughter and radiant face smiling up and me all the while his laughter was growing like the sound on a mantra in my ears , mixed up in that sound I could hear him talking inside my head saying shall we walk a while there are some things I wish you to see. So without any hesitation we started to walk along this surreal roadway all this time he was directing my eyes to look at this and that and as we got farther down this road the feel and vista of the landscape seemed to be changing, yet not in a good way. I was starting to fell less comfortable as the landscape change in asthetic and become less like a place I wanted to go. I stopped and turned to face him and he had tears rolling down his soft face and could feel his sadness at the shock on my face. then he said to me. I must leave you now, but before I go I want to give you something, hold out your hand. I did as he asked and into my hand he let fall a bunch of keys. Saying as they fell into my hands that these were for me and that I hold the keys and to protect them with my life. I waws just about to ask him what they were for, and held up his hand to stop me. And said that he must leave me now for it was time for him to go. At this point I awoke with a strange feeling of joy and fear at the power I felt inside that dream.
Joy of that dream grew stronger than the fear, at what I'd seen And I still feel that joy even in my frustration at this mad world today.
I had this dream three nights in a row with no deviation from the first to the last. I've not had a dream that I can remember from that night til this.
And now it seems to me that life is becoming that dream as I walk this moral road and the vision that he gave me in that dream unfold.
PEACE all

oh and captain... i know how you feel. hard to tell where dreams end and reality begins.
the conscious "center" of our waking awareness seems to be a convergence of the higher and lower stages of more and less concreteness. I often wonder if yesterday really happened, or if today I wake up and remember yesterday happening only because it fits with what's happening today, and whether what happened while I was in the realms of sleep has shaped the overall being of todayness.

The pyramid is the mountain from whence we came.
The eye is the sun rising above its glorious peaks.
Nothing more, nothing less.

Om? On?
Holy Mountain... hmmm.
Ya know the mountain is very triangular, has a big eye, and it shines and creates all sorts of sunshine and spirals...
I think, also, that it's more complicated than that. Meaning that this was a sentient thing. I seen it lately in waking/meditation. It seems to be the thing projecting forth the "matter" which creates the layers of consciousness and the spiritual energy....
There's a few other "eternal houses" I'll call them. Another has to do with the Kabbalah but they are absolutely eternal things which exist always, and create sentient form. Archetypal Being(s).
maybe i shouldnt have said nothing more nothing less as its just my opinion.
the pyramid and the eye are just symbolic of an ancestral memory.
our ancient home and our protector rising above.
ra and the pyramids.
sumer and its ziggurats.
all built in veneration of where we had come from imo.
ie...the high plains of anatolia and the caucasus ranges, mt ararat and lake van maybe?

sort of a mixture of the anatolian hypothesis and the kurgan hypothesis, mixed with a dash of atlantis mythology and a sprinkle of the rama empire, all bought to simmer in a large pot full of my imagination.
its as good as anything hancock ever proposed imo.

Well why did all these places build pyramids in ancient times? Pyramids don't really look like mountains. Just go find a rocky crag and worship that, if said theory be the case.
And why did these civilizations start so illustriously and then fall into such decay as time went on? What is the true meaning of religion and temple building? What piece of the puzzle gets lost to dogma and superstition? Isn't civilization, culture, even architecture itself, an extended effect of religion? What false pretense could create such grandious design? What about language? What about geometry? What about the ingeniously precise architecture used in the construction of the Giza pyramids that we can't even reproduce today with advanced computer aided engineering? There is something which inspired all of this Order amidst the chaos of the primordial jungles of prehistory. Aliens? Should we underestimate our own capacity by blaming it on anything other than our own latent potential?
These are mostly rhetorical questions. You should think deeply about them.
In addition, it should be noted that in ancient days, the priesthood were the keepers of all knowledge. Science, art, language, history, religion, architecture. They did not reveal said knowledge to anyone except those who proved themselves worthy of its reception. In ancient Greece, the mystery schools were the world's first universities. The outer mysteries were akin to what today could be referred to as a basic education on the liberal arts and scxiences. It was only those who found within the outer mysteries a deeper interpretation of their teachings that were admitted into the inner mysteries.
Ancient Kings were High Priests. What kind of wisdom would make a man worthy of the right of high priest, keeper of all knowledge, and King? What made these true and wise kings of old?

Well why did all these places build pyramids in ancient times? Pyramids don't really look like mountains.
ascending to heaven is discussed in detail by nearly all societies and their varying religions that built pyramids, ziggurats or mounds and in most cases their gods (ancestors) resided at the top of a mountain.
of course pyramids dont look like mountains, they are symetrical. but they look more like a mountain than a spaceship or a water pump or a stargate or whatever else you'd care to mention.
Just go find a rocky crag and worship that, if said theory be the case.
they had moved down from the mountains and the high plateau's to the plains at the end of the last ice age. the nearest rocky crags were many miles and many generations behind them, the old life was recounted around the hearths at night by the elders and priests.
hence the veneration of the mountains.
And why did these civilizations start so illustriously and then fall into such decay as time went on? What is the true meaning of religion and temple building?
since when did they decay, civilization has grown exponentially since those first cities at catalhoyuk and goblekli tepe.
What piece of the puzzle gets lost to dogma and superstition? Isn't civilization, culture, even architecture itself, an extended effect of religion?
civilization, culture and architecture are an extended effect of survival.
What about language? What about geometry? What about the ingeniously precise architecture used in the construction of the Giza pyramids that we can't even reproduce today with advanced computer aided engineering?
had to start somewhere. i bet our ancestors wouldnt be able to win a hand of texas holdem.
You should think deeply about them.
we do....hence the thousands of threads on various topics.
