I have recently seen quite a few vids of heavy troop movement heading to California. I have also heard the the border will be closing on Dec 31 and I have seen a few more articles about that on the web...

One rouge web warrior has released a vid saying that she saw Australian troops at camp pendalton and when she asked what they were doing their they told her that they had Op orders for martial law.

Now by itself it seems like just another doom prediction. But with the amount of troop movements in Cali and considering its economy it does seem like it could be possible that a state of martial law would be declared in the state of California....

I mean you got folks living in rest stops...thats gotta be inviting to gangs...the state is paying folks with IOUs again. LOTS of troop trains bringing in military gear. So when taken all together...

It prompts me to ask..WHO LIVES IN CALIFORNIA HERE?

Have any Californians noticed anything in your area to cause alarm?

I live smack dab between Vandenburg, Edwards and Port Hueneme.

Last night there was an overflight of C-130s headed south, and this afternoon was a wing of (what looked like) blackhawks headed in the same direction.

When Bush launched the "Surge" a few years ago it was the same kind of activity. I figured it was a part of the Afghan deployment. I think you're CT friends are probably seeing the same thing.

I saw one post in another forum where some dipshit said Obama was about to call up a million troops so that he could declare martial law. Adding a million tropps would be impossible without a draft, which would make martial law an afterthought.

But then today I saw another article that said Obama wanted his commanders to bring troop strength up to a million stateside. That makes a lot more sense. We have about 2.8 million it appears after a quick search.

Just for the record, we are already under a declared state of martial law, and have been for a very long time. But a widepsread deployment of troops like you are imagining, across a state/states, has not been done since the Civil War.

Live in SD. 45 minutes from Camp P.

Can't say I have seen any troop movement. A lot of military in down town in SD on weekends so I will throw some questions if I run into one.

Just to fuel the fire, did see a huge cargo plane fly over the house headed toward Mexico about three weeks ago. Never seen anything like it in 15 years living here. Drug pick up maybe...

I live near a base that houses C-5 air transports. No activity from them, which there usually is for overseas deployments.

Also If you see any military men Could you ask them "what are they are training Australians for?"

Its a set up question... IF there are no Aussies then they will say so but if there are aussies then they will answer accordingly. Anyways... thats just to test if the Aussies really are at camp pendalton.

There's a fair number that are closed, but some of those should be re-opened or just about to do so.

Don't forget Cali is flat broke. I'd say that's far more likely a reason to close these rest areas for a year.

All I can say is next time take pics.... Never leave home without your digital camera.

And make sure you have it set for the best picture taking.... Avoid fuzzy pics...tune your cell camera as best you can.

Yeah, all I have is a crappy cell camera. And I was too far away to get a real good look. I was up on a bridge. Kinda creeped me out though. I'm pretty familiar with the rail traffic here, having lived here all my life, been in a railroad club, knew people that worked on that line, etc. Never saw s train like that here ever before.

Well After a bit of digging...I did see the vid of the tank transport train that passed through my neck of the woods I could not find anything more about any evil take over or major troop movements preparing to shut down california....

I looked for relevant articles hit a few chats, re-posted this on a number of boards and all I got back was basically the same crap I had already seen.

So I am gonna say aint nothing going on in california aside from pot smoking and Hollywood excrement.

There's a major rail line that runs about a quarter mile from my house, I can see it from here. Nothing fishy, and I've been watching since you started the thread. Just regular traffic: AmTrack, fruits and cars.

There's been no major military activity along the 101, and that kinda thing usually raises a few eyebrows; I'm not the only conspiracy nut in Santa Barbara.

Point me in a direction to verify this. Any area in SoCal I can't hit, Royal can get there. North of me there's damn little until you hit San Jose.

This part of it, out here, has been worked for about a year. They used concrete ties. There is a new intermodal center being built near a stretch that runs along US59. Not sure when it will be moving freight.

And, we do have foreign troops
train there.

Operating...hmmmm....kinda
different from training.

Also, Ft. Polk, like Ft. Irwin use

wear authentic uniforms.

Not odd at all to see people dressed
