...

So this Ares, whats it supposed to do?

Lexion
10-28-2009, 03:08 PM
It was a test flight.

The "payload" was weighted as
if it were an actual "people-
carrying" thing-a-ma-bob".

Seeing how the stages separate
and such.

It's our new ticket to the moon.

Chorlton
10-28-2009, 03:12 PM
Yep its the new Moon and maybe further, rocket.
Reusable first stage which makes it cheaper.
I'm still buggered if I know why they couldnt just make a bigger shuttle.

Lexion
10-28-2009, 03:13 PM
[offsite:3j5fjscg]The Ares I-X rocket was composed of a real first stage, with four tuna can-shaped solid-rocket segments and a dummy fifth segment on top. It also carried a simulated upper stage and crew capsule to mimic the intended size and mass of a full Ares I booster. At 327 feet (100 meters) high on the launch pad, it was the tallest rocket in service today, however brief its two-minute flight lasted.[/offsite:3j5fjscg]

Lexion

We'd rather pay the Russians.

[offsite:25qpepx8]NASA said earlier it plans to reserve up to 24 seats aboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft after the US agency's Space Shuttle program is retired in September 2010. NASA's new Ares rocket program isn't expected to carry its first human passengers to the ISS until 2015.

"We have reached an agreement with NASA to increase the price for a single seat on Soyuz space craft for US astronauts traveling to the ISS to $51 million, with adjustments for inflation," Alexei Krasnov, director of manned flight programs at Roscosmos told the RIA Novosti news agency.[/offsite:25qpepx8]

What a bargain !

Chorlton
10-28-2009, 03:27 PM
Well although the Soyuz is good I think the ESA rockets are quickly catching up

Lexion
10-28-2009, 03:33 PM
As are the Chinese and India's.

Except the Chinese haven't got
out of the pool, yet.

Chorlton
10-28-2009, 03:39 PM
I think ESA rockets and development is a lot more advanced than Chinas or India's. The ESA Rockets have had the ability of heavy lifts for years, that they havent sent any humans up is simply economical as it was always intended as a purely financial business but there is a lot of forward thinking in ESA now.
I also heard that the UK was coming back into ESA, that will give the French something to worry about, not the least having to do countdowns in English rather than French.

Chorlton

Well its a known fact that, sooner or later we have to leave this solar system or die. So, the longest journey starts with a single step.

My idea would be for all countries to contribute, except Canada and France. They arent even civilised. Any country that eats snails or doesnt put milk in its tea isnt civilised.

hp
10-28-2009, 04:03 PM
If we could look into the future, I would bet we do not make it. The money and effort spent on war versus what is spent on space moves the odds over to death and destruction. There is going to have to be a major change in mankind's state of mind.

Chorlton
10-28-2009, 04:06 PM
Oh we will. Ion drives and stuff like that will become more a reality than just a test.Maybe we could even sort out the 'Space bending' reality.
I mean look where weve come in just 100 years. From the first manned flight by an Englishman to space flight by some yanks.

boycotteverything
10-28-2009, 04:08 PM
it's also worth noting that 'all that money spent on space' was spent primarily for the benefit of war- starting with the V2.

Yes but the V1 and V2 did allow for the redevelopment of the East End of London allowing all the Jews and later Pakistani's to move in.

This is about like 2 guys with shovels, and old pickup truck and 20 bucks in their pocket building the complete US highway system. Heck, throw in 10 more guys with shovels and 6 axes and it still won't happen.

If ya call know we'll add a SERPO military lawnmower and jock straps for everyone.

I would like to think we might aspire to higher places but the effort seems to be going nowhere in reality. Gonna need to convince the elite that they need to get in gear which will then allow the average guy to be kissed off. Mankind's record doesn't support this, IMO.

Springer and Crakeur on Serpo...

Postby Crakeur on Thu Jun 22, 2006 5:34 pm
long time serp-follower, first time posting.

excellent work guys and gal. I do have to ask, at what point do you let it finally rest? I ask because it seems the whole story died long ago and the continued exposure only serves to fuel the fire at the cult of the open mind, as well as continue to give publicity to that book. Remember, there's no such thing as bad publicity so, while you guys are busy tearing the shreds of this story into confetti, you are also, in effect, giving Collins free publicity.

I know, you want to put an end to further shenanegans from the team of hoaxers, which I understand and agree is a nice ending to all of this but you are, also, going to teach them what not to do the next time. And there will be a next time. They won't stop, so long as there are people like the folks at the om forum who will believe anything you tell them (even when they include proven hoaxes like the protocols of zion in their moronic stories).

Mental note, never ever try and pull a fast one on the gang of 3.

Y'all might want to re-work the gang of 4's I love a man in a uniform. Change it to I love a man in a old bath robe or something like that.

Seeing as how I am the one usually trumpeting about "free publicity" I feel compelled to chime in on this. :)

Crakeur has a great point, but I think "The Intrepid 3" here are doing this exactly the right way. This site is a perfect venue for exposing this hoax RIGHT NOW and here's why.

This expose will be what raises this site to the next level, going forward when people search for information on the hoaxers and the scam they attempted to pull off this site will be among the first returns. As it stands right now, the site is still "new" enough that while the information is being collected and sorted there is little chance of any "publicity boom" for the scam.

The google mapping that "ranks" sites for search optimization uses links to this site from "high ranking site" as a major factor in classifying this site. In other words, each time a "high ranking site" puts a link to this site up this site's "rank" rises in the search engines.

Once this expose is finished and it shows the scam for what it is there will be lots of sites linking to the expose as the word gets out about its existence. Those links will raise this site's ranking in the search engines and make the expose even more "obvious" or popular. It's actually the perfect scenario.

Had this site been a well established, older site with a high rank this expose would surely have given free publicity to the scam. I believe after this expose raises this site to the next level "The Intrepid 3" will have to create a new site for their next expose because this site will be too powerful.

I know for sure that once this is complete there are quite a few major sites that are going to be linking to it and doing what they can to help get it in the public's eye. ;)

There are a few "sleeping giants" that will awaken when the time is right. Oh man, there is a storm brewing. Growing more intense with each libelous spam a certain buffoon spews forth. :o

Negative publicity gives the google index a chance to take a visitor some where else. Not every ATS entry is some cool stuff to draw some guy over there.

Zep Tepi's destruction of Serpo in 2006 at Reality Uncovered. No prisoners taken. Posters: Zeptepi, Ryan LaDouche, Shawnna, cartoonsyndicate, Crakeur, Springer, Serp and a few others.

It's 53 pages of fun and games! A must read for all Serponauts.

At some point, if you're reading that thread, you'll come across these two posts. Bear in mind that Tacitus Monroe was in reality Zep Tepi, Shawnna and Wayne (Centrist)! hahahahaha The hoax researchers became hoaxers at that point.

Postby Zep Tepi on Thu Jun 08, 2006 7:32 pm
Maybe the intention was to throw the spotlight onto someone else with regards to his identity. I realise a lot of people will be thinking Tacitus must be one of us because he hasn't updated his site recently - maybe that was his reason? I don't care either way, he has provided some great information!

Cheers,
Zep

Excellent questions, dragonfire! I'll give it my best shot! :D

Yes - we absolutely have every intention of putting it all out there! In addition to the email box where these emails reside, we are now getting information from Tacitus as well. :D

It is a tremendous amount of work to put all of this out there, and do it in a way that makes sense to folks. :?

This email box has well over 500 emails that have to be sorted (and for those on Victor's spam email list - you know what I mean!).

Then the relevant emails have to be separated and put in chronological order.

Once that is done, they have to be displayed with the full headers and then they have to be put in .pdf format.

After that is complete, we are editing out personal information with XXXX's as much as possible - especially for those individuals NOT directly involved in this hoax.

Then we have to write a paragraph explaining what each email represents - to the best of our understanding.

When that is all said and done, it then has to be put in the format appropriate for posting on this site.

Our goal is to be sure that nothing is taken out of context, and what we post is presented in as comprehensive way as possible.

One of the reasons we are including the headers in each email .pdf is so people can see that we are not creating anything here. We are simply posting what we have access to, with headers. What we have created is the explanation of each email so individuals can put it into context.

If there is something you feel we have left out up to this point, please ask. We'll do our best to hunt down the information and post it, if we have access to it. If we don't, we'll let you know that too.

The reader must decide how they want to interpret the information as we all have our personal filters through which information passes.

I make a conscious effort every time I find new information to remove my personal filter so that I can see things clearly.

Always,
Shawnna

i think shawnna feels badly that her tenacity caused these tactics. she has a conscience (unlike Zep Tepi)and felt a bit of shame. now this is not from any firsthand knowledge. it's my gut feeling about her. she is sharp as a tack and bulldog tough. no-one to trifle with. she's also temperamental, spiteful, stiff-necked and moralistic. complicated woman. always stay on her good side! hahahaha
