WASHINGTON - Even as swine flu infections are causing an unprecedented amount of illness for this time of year — and a growing number of deaths, particularly among children — supplies of vaccine to protect against it will be delayed, government health officials said Friday.
In the past week, 11 more children have died from H1N1 influenza infections, an official from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said, bringing the total to 86 children since April. That's a startling number because in some past winters, the CDC has counted 40 or 50 child deaths for the entire flu season — and no one knows how long this swine flu outbreak will last.

I don't know how they get there figures. . . . but kids have been dying from the "flu" for years . . . it not any worse that it normally is . . .but one thing, most have underlying problems or other conditions and the mix is what takes them out . . .but I wouldn't recommend the jab!!!!

i hear ya. i hate needles too and i won't get it either. but we're old enough to have some immunity it seems. the kids are defenseless. plus they like needles. so it's all good.

I know a few that have had it now.
It's actually more mild then the regular flu.
Maybe the flu wouldn't spread so fast if people didn't activly spread it.
I don't get the shots because, well, they are bad for you. Drink enough water durring the winter months and everything is alll good.
And it's bullshit to vaccinate your kids. It's only setting them up no need the shots in the future.

As stated, I live in San Diego. I went to a primarily Hispanic gym and did almost all the wrong moves to get swine flu (I.E. sat down on toilet seat without cover). Did not get anything. It's not highly contagious and bogus. Although, friends of friends have got thee h1n1.
I can see the perpetrators making a more vicious strain and leaving the people who didn't get the vaccination shit out of luck.

you all know how this shit works, right? A vaccine is a controlled dose of a bacteria, virus, or toxin. It is given in the HOPES that your natural immunity system will Learn how to deal with said bit of nastiness and then be better able to deal with it if it should ever encounter it again. It's a good Theory, and there's been a pretty good success rate for Some Toxins, but there's No Guarantees the things will work, and they Don't Work on the Vast Amount of ailments that afflict us.

Apparently, they don't teach folks about the insane amounts of Normal Flora we have a symbiotic relationship with. These little 'nasties' are Required for our good health and are actually Part Of our immunity system. This will probably give some folks the creepy crawlies:

I have very mixed feelings about the whole "let's infect our entire population with some nasties in the hopes that that will make them better" thing... For some people and some nasties, it seems to work... for others, not so cool. The Mandatory stuff really bothers me... especially with the newer ones... don't like it that they use my kid as a test subject... hate it even more that my kid HAS to get this latest flu vaccine if she wants to go to public school, but the New York Supreme Court just put out a restraining order saying that health care workers in that state Don't have to get it as it violates their human rights. (An actual hearing is scheduled for October 30th, should be interesting)

When my daughetr was a toddler, we let her play outside in the garden, making mud pies, eating worms (hey its protein and its free) let her pick up and eat sweets when she dropped them, same as I did when I was a kid. She's never had a cold or flu in her life and is as fit as a butchers dog, so many of her friends in school have flu and colds and she just doesnt get them.
Normal Flu in the EU kills many many thousands of people every winter, this Swine flu seems to be a wonderfull advertising coup for certain vaccine makers.

here's an off topic sidebar, from a chat with some friends in the medical community.
MRSA (a staff infection) has been around for ages. Really Nasty MRSA was primarily confined to hospitals. In recent decades here in the states, hospital workers have been becoming more and more lax in their standard operating procedures and have been wearing their Scrubs home from work. (they used to change out of their scrubs into street clothes before leaving the hospital). I remember MY folks wearing their scrubs home from work. My ex wife remembers Her folks wearing scrubs home from work, and without even thinking about it too hard, I can recall over two dozen other health care professionals who routinely wear their work clothes Outside the work environment...
and Nasty MRSA has been on a steady uprise here in the states these past years...
I'm sure there's absolutely No Connection between the two though.
I REALLY gotta hit the sack now.

Few observations regarding 'seasonal flu shots' and h1n1 shots:
1. The media has been fear mongering and hyping to have almost everyone to get this so-called flu shot. Sensationalism is basking in its glory right now.
2. The flu shot isn't/hasn't 'proven' to be effective.
3. The flu shot has been 'pushed' on the populous.
4. Many reprecusions/extreme physical ailments are coming about to our awareness. The axiom: "One in a million(?) might exhibit side affects" seems to be extreme a number. It's actually more than that statiscally. With the cases cropping up on a daily basis, I would be so inclinded to say: "One in every 1000" imho.
5. The flu shot contains a LOT of poisonous substances. Why comprimise an adults' immune system with that shit, let alone give it to children who haven't fully developed their Immune systems yet? LET ALONE...force anyone's body to adjust to the already pervailling poisons contained in the flu shot.
6. RE: Point #2 & 3 - Why the sudden need to push forward a seemingly toxic substance that hasn't been fully tested?
By now, this so-called swine flu should have permeated a LOT of international borders, and reported cases brought into light. It's here in Canada, in the US and.....(ground zero)...MEXICO.
That takes care of ALL of NORTH AMERICA.
I remember starting a thread (NOW lost in the apeci era) concerning a 'global de-populization' topic (Dec/09) This was the first thing that came to mind when I thought of the Swine flu and the shots.
