Anybody here seen this yet?
I was a big fan of Leslie Keane's at one point.
See runs the "Coalition for Freedom of Information"
I have a problem with one of the segments, featuring John Callahan.
I voiced my concerns to Leslie Kean a few times.
She is aware of what I'm talking about.
Callahan has embellished his testimony, the CIA never tried to cover-up the JAL incident.
It was front page news at the time, and was covered on TV.
The FAA made everything available publicly.
Maybe because it happen 20 plus years ago, many ufo enthusiast have forgotten, or never bothered to fact check Callahan's testimony.
The JAL case is a great ufo case that does not need Callahan lying about some supposed cover-up that never happened.
Fox and Kean both know that Callahan embellished, and or lied, but they have chosen to ignore it.
I know who the CIA guy was in the room and so do Fox, Kean and Callahan.
But they prefer to keep certain things, like this a mystery, because it fits their agenda of "disclosure".
Disclosure is supposed to be about truth, but lying to achieve that result is a fruit of a poisoned tree.
Callahan is a popular figure in ufology, but numerous attempts have been made to bring the CIA guy and Callahan together for a meeting.
Fox, Kean, and Callahan were not interested.
Anybody want to know the CIA guys name?
I think most ufologists would also be surprised to learn that Bruce Macabee was also at the briefing Callahan alleges was cover-up.
Macabee's report on the JAL incident were quite in depth and came out in the spring after the event.
They are available online...just google Macabee JAL
I'm not a debunker, I had my own encounter years ago.
It defies explanation....but if there is such a factual error that I know exists about Callahan, a supposed star witness, what does it say about the rest of the "documentary"?
Are factual errors ignored with other parts?
I know first hand, these factual errors were brought to the attention of Kean in January of 2008.
I guess the point I'm getting at is that you really can't trust the govt, you really can't trust ufology either.
Apparently, both of them lie when it suits their purpose.
That's why I have been know to say, that disclosure won't be what most expect, and won't be the truth, so what's the point?
Nobody wins.
Best to let folks come to the truth on their own.
You can't force truth with lies
