And even with time, black holes eventually die.

reminded me of that nat geo program, can't remember what it was called but very similar in it's timeline and subject matter.

the universe is a fucking wonderful place ain't it.

Yeah Mojo, reminded me of the same show. At least I think we're talking about the same show, it discussed the different 'eras' of the universe, 'degenerate era' is the only one I remember.

yeah it was on tv here a couple of months ago, fucking great show.

there was another show, 3d animation, that showed evolutionary direction of current lifeforms, that was also brilliant. it showed how different lifeforms would mutate and adjust to the various epoch's and environmental changes the earth would undertake.

I didn't catch the other show unfortunately but Nat Geo in the UK I'm thinking might be behind the US so we'll probably have it donated to us in a few months.

The other show was great though, really liked the idea of colonies around stars at the end of this universal era. Seems like a Sci-Fi waiting to happen.

yeah that was cool, it'll only ever happen if we start spending the billions on space and not war though.
can't see that happening anytime soon with the greedy cunts we have in power.

"This is the end.
My only friend the end."

This is the way the world ends.
This is the way the world ends.
This is the way the world ends.
Not with a bang but with a whimper."

I thought it curious that the world ends with... Pangea.

Isn't that how it supposedly started?

Hey Cog, I thought the same thing. Maybe the world goes through cycles of Pangeas and Dinosaurs and Jurassic Park movies.

Does rather fit in with the cyclic view of history huh?

Well now that I sit and look at it further... Part of that GIF doesn't make any sense given the theory of plate tectonics.

If the Pacific plate is subductive, then wouldn't the west coast of America eventually meet up with Asia instead of the east coast smashing into Europe?
