The Human Swine Flu.
My little boy has it. Someone was confirmed from his KG class on Monday night. He had tuesday off school with a high temp 101. The school called and told us to get him checked out... So we did.
They called this arvo and said he's a confirmed case.
He's still the same crazy little ball of energy and he's bouncing around the house with his storm trooper helmet on, light sabre at the ready.
Bit of a shitter and I'm just a touch worried.
Going to read him a story and put him to bed, back in a bit.

From the stats I saw, this Swine flu crap is less lethal than the standard, run of the mill annual flu bug that goes around...
I don't understand the hype really...

Swine flu up-date.
Boy's temp was down to 99.9 this morning and mum has taken him off to the clinic to see the vet.
I'm not so much worried about the flu. I haven't had a sick day from work in about 4 years. Rarely get ill, same as the old man and the boy is a real mimi me!
Had a month of for a buggered back, but that was bike related.
It's more the fact that they will fill him full of drugs and crap that he dosen't need that worries me. As I read in the paper yesterday the Hong Kong moto is.

He'll be OK in a few days despite the treatment- or because of it. Let them be cautious. China didn't grow to be a billion and a half strong by poisoning each other with medicine.

BEIJING, China (CNN) -- A court upheld the convictions of two milk producers in China's tainted milk scandal, which killed at least six infants and sickened nearly 300,000 others, state-run media reported.
The ruling affirms a death sentence for Geng Jinping and an eight-year-jail term for Geng Jinzhu, according to the Xinhua news agency. The brother and sister were convicted in January of producing and selling poisoned food by adding the chemical melamine to milk, which made its way into baby formula and a host of other products.
Two others -- Zhang Yujun and Zhang Yanzhang -- who were convicted of endangering public safety also have appeals before the Hebei High People's Court in northern China. In their original trials, Zhang Yujun was sentenced to death and Zhang Yanzhang to life in prison.
