If the post banned member refuses to communicate with staff about the post ban, the post ban can last for as long as the member refuses to communicate.

So, we as users can get banned for an indeterminate amount of time if we refuse to communicate with the staff. Gotcha.

How goes it when a ATS member sends U2U’s to the staff (if that means a specific Mod) who refuse to communicate with back?

(When only 3 U2U’s have been sent, all are polite, on topic, and the last extending an olive branch of peace over a difference of opinion)?

Does that mean we’re compelled to answer staff but the staff is under no such compulsion to respond to us?[/quote:1o60f5w2]

In checking the issues over there today, I noticed a new level of complaint about popups and virus/malware. Bill gives the standard I don't see it using my MAC. Customer service at the US standard.

ohh, but YOU Got it all wrong!!

there is no such thing as "customer service centres" these days.
the new buzzword is "customer CONTACT centre"

customer SERVICE centre actually implies they are there at your service, or to service the customers calls.

customer CONTACT centre implies only that.. they are there for the customer to contact (they dont provide any service)

;)

it takes a while to realise you are visiting walmart and not marks and spencer.

i read those posts in the ats issues thread the other day and was almost tempted to post them as well before i realised the pointlessness of the whole exercise...fuck them and their sterile camels.
the previous 2 pages of the ats issues thread is even fucking funnier if you can be bothered.
i cant.

My mobile provider calls theirs "Customer Care". At first I was sceptical but when I ran into some problems and emailed them a somewhat angry letter, they responded with patience and politeness. I was impressed. I even sent a commendation letter to the agent's supervisor to tell them what a good job the agent did. That felt good.

Heh. I'm still gonna switch provider. My current provider's rates are harsh. But then again I'm using prepaid. I tried to switch to a postpaid plan, but then it turns out I still owe them about 800+ dating back to the time I first started college and went nuts on a particular account. Forgot about that (conveniently)

Apparently if I switch to this other provider, I can keep my number and not pay that 800. Okay, I'll do that then :D
