My man Marcos Ambrose won a race tody, and I found a great picture that I want to use as my desktop on my puter, but its VERY pixilated...
Can anyone take a whack at clearing it up for me?
Im not too good with Adobe, Nero photo View, or the Lexmark program that cme with my copier/printer/scanner.
I would very much appreciate any help you all could give me and I can give you some auto advice or something in return?
PLEASE????

its probably because its a low res picture or something... so making it bigger mucks it up...
I've only got Gimp, and it keep crashing lately... so I'm not much help... sorry :(
but might be tough to clean up a low res picture for use on a background.

Damn. How bout if I try another?
Maybe if I put like 3 of em out there, someone can fix one for me?
This guys my new favorite racer, Ive been following him for 4 years now, and hes starting to show alot of promise.
Mojo's pretty familiar with him, he was an Australian racer, and did very well there before trying Nascar.
thanks for tryin, though Pack!

What's your monitor's resolution set to, G?
Any more information on the event so we can hunt down a higher rez image?
The one you've posted is insufficient but could - possibly - be the basis for something impressionistic...

are those resized or something? or perhaps the thumbnails?
Looks liek those were taken with a Canon EOS-1D Mark II N Camera...
but the resolution is only 72 DPI...
<--confused...

They've been resized for the web... probably to license the high quality versions for cash.

Its Marcos Ambrose, he won the race in Watkins Glen , New York today.
The Zippo 200.
Drives for Daugherty/JTG racing.
They were just plucked from google images to find something, ya know?
Hes semi-obscure.... Most people think its only Dale Earnhardt Jr. out there racing all the time so he dont get too much coverage.
Anything you can find similar to those is cool, Spauldin' but Im likin the ones with him showing the win, crossin the line/ checkered flag type pics.
Not sure what my res is set at, its a flattie, though

have you looked here? http://www.marcosambrose.com.au/
you're gonna need a bigger picture to use it as a nice looking background...

Know anything about VW's?
How tough is it for a neophyte to rebuild, reinstall and synchronize a pair of Kadron carbs?
My '64 baja has been idle for over two years now; long enough for all the gas to have evaporated in the desert heat.
Think a rebuild will be needed? http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee162/21b45o13x25c54o34d45e/icons%20pngs/ugly_laught.png
Most of the other standard shit I can do, I mean, I've got John Muir's Idiot's Guide (http://www.daveswhiteboard.com/archives/113), but doing the duel carbs; that ain't standard, I don't think it's covered in the book, and that's got me a little wary...
I died a little when my VW whispering sorceress departed for Oregon...
