View Full Version : Just some Healing Energy, pls.

I went to the doctor yesterday...and ended up having to go back for labwork. She did a small test, I think its called...hematocrit. They pricked my fingers, but could barely get any blood out -_-;
She discovered I'm severely anaemic, and could quite possibly need a blood transfusion, it was that bad. This morning I go in for the sliding scale adjustment meeting (to see if I don't have to pay all the money...last time I got 75% knocked off), and then right after I go to their lab to get blood work done. I'm honestly scared to death. I cried all afternoon (ended up with a nightmare headache too -_-).
So, I'd just like for healing energy, to help me make it through safely and help me get healthy again. Thanks in advance <3

so btw, I just got back. First thing was to see if I could get the sliding scale...which I did. 100% paid for (except a $15 copay), medical and dental. I also applied for low income health insurance (so if I have to see a specialist, It'll be covered). After that, I was able to be put in the lab earlier than my appt time. They took like 7 vials of blood (ick), and wanted a freakin' urine sample, to see if my Kidneys were ok. In about 7-10 days, I'll get results. So from now til then, I've got some Synthroid to take, hopefully it will help, plus these Iron and Folic acid supplements.

No assessment if it is dietary or hereditary yet I suppose.
They aren't making you stay in the hospital, so take some comfort in that.
If it were worse you wouldn't be home right now.

There's many types of anemia. (http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/understanding-anemia-basics)
Before you go spending your hard earned cash on homeopathic remedies, wait for the blood test results so you make sure you buy the right thing.
