This sounds interesting - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_tic_tac_toe
However, I'm not sure I completely understand the rules there. But fuck it. Let's do this. Let me go first
Game 1
X1 | |

| |
| |
---------------------------
|X1 |

And just to spice things up, let tweak the rules a bit so that anyone can just join at any time so that there are various outcomes, just like the many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics.
*copypasta the code and paste in + your move. use the preview button to fix any astigmatism.

I think from the rules you're supposed to add odd numbers to O, and even numbers to X. No worries, minor error, let me fix it.

|X3 X5* |

Okay, now that O2, X3 and X5 are entangled, you've got to collapse X5 into a single box. Which box do you choose? There are two options for collapse:
Game 1 - First collapse option 1
X1 |O2 X3 |O2 X5*
| O | X
| |
---------------------------
|X3 X5* |
| X | 04
| |
---------------------------
|X1 |

Game 1 - First collapse option 2

| X | O

---------------------------
|X3 X5* |
| X | 04

---------------------------

You see the two boxes with o2 are linked to the two boxes with x3 because they share a box. Likewise, the two x3 boxes are linked to x5 via a shared box. And x5 is linked back to o2 via a shared box. It's a circuit. When that happens, they're considered entangled, and you must choose a single final position for the move that completes the circuit (because I was the one who completed the circuit). In this case one of the X5s. Once that has been chosen, the other moves in the circuit (o2 and x3) must also be collapsed, based on the choice of which circuit completion move. Here let me illustrate with the option you chose:
Game 1 - First collapse option 2
X1 |O2 X3 |O2 X5*
| X3 | O2
| |
---------------------------
|X3 X5* |
| X5 | 04
| |
---------------------------
|X1 |
| | 04
| |
As you can see, when the spooky marks collapses, only one option is chosen. Those three boxes are now locked and you can't place any more spooky marks in them. By the way it's still your turn. You have to move O6.
One more thing (or hint), circuits can be made from as little as two pairs of spooky marks.

Hey come on, it's an interesting game. Care to play round 2? I think I lost round one with that stupid X5 move. GF would win in one move that'll convert two squares into classic O marks.

Is that a move where i can go?
Im starting to get it a lil bit, but the spooky marks still have me out there.
I think I tried terrace once, Pack.
Is it kinda like othello, but mixed with alternate moves?
Didnt look exactly like that board

NOt really... its kind like a cross between chess and checkers...
pieces can move along the same terrace as long as they aren't blocked by another piece... or they can move up or down one step...
You can only capture pieces from a higher terrace...
and you can only capture pieces that are the same size or smaller than the piece capturing...
I think thats about it... takes HOURS sometimes...

Is that a move where i can go?
Yep, that's a valid move. Spooky marks are basically the paired moves we make each turn. Classic marks are when the function collapses, like the boxes 8, 9 and 5 (like on the number pad) with their solid X, O and X respectively. You win when you get three classic (collapsed) marks in a row, like in regular tic-tac-toe.
You could have won if you put both O6 spooky marks into the same squares as O4. Now here's my move:
Game 1 - Second collapse
X1 X7 |O2 X3 |O2 X5*
X | X3 | O2
| |
---------------------------
|X3 X5* |
| X5 | 04
| |
---------------------------
|X1 X7* |
| X |
| 06 | 06 04
I would've asked you to choose which spooky mark to collapse into classic marks in boxes 1 and 8 (according to the numpad), but either option leads to the same conclusion above.
Final result:
Game 1 - End
| |
X | X | O
| |
---------------------------
| |
| X | 04
| |
---------------------------
| |
| X |
| 06 | 06 04

Im sure that was tuned into a NYC taxi, B.E.
That may have been what I played, Pack.. Board was numbered instead of leveled, and couldnt overtake to a higher number like that one.
See if anyone else will try, I wanna learn it a little better and i think watching will do that.
If nobody wants to try, Ill be game for another.
