Hey everyone.

Sorry I haven't been around the forum lately, I ran into a bit of legal trouble (the popo popped me) and have been busy trying to get it taken care of.

So far, it looks like I'll only be hit with 6 months probation and a fine (up to $1000). However, it is possible that I could be spending the next year in prison if I happen to pull a dick judge.

Either way, I will continue to be pretty scarce around here while I'm getting everything taken care of and busting my ass to find the money to pay the fines. Hopefully they will go pretty easy on me and not rape my bank account but seeing as how most of our laws are just a means of taking our hard earned money for their own use, I kinda doubt I'll get out any less than about $750 or so.

I'll still be popping in from time to time but I gotta do what I gotta do as far as getting all this shit behind me.

Keep the forums alive while I'm gone and I'll work on some new stuff for us when I am able to devote some time to the site again.

Also, any donations you guys can spare to help pay the monthly bills around AmKon are always appreciated. I know times are tough so if you are struggling to buy food, gas, cigs or other such daily needs...don't throw your budget off by tossing money into a website. We are still payed up for this month after the last round of donations several months ago but the new "time to pay the bills" emails should be hitting shortly haha.

Actually, didn't even get busted with pot. Got busted with a pipe with a fraction of a gram of ash in it. They still popped me for possession.

All because the idiot I was riding in the boat with (he's the boyfriend of a friend of mine) decided he was gonna be hostile and cuss at the cop giving him the right to search him for suspicious behavior and then leading to the search of the boat and finding the pipe.

I don't know how it is where you are, but in here in Kalifornica, the court will set up payments based on your ability to pay.

They usually don't, but if you make an ass out of yourself they'll apply a little heat. There is no substitute for silence, dude should have kept his fucking mouth shut.

If you have been a model citizen, no drug priors, paid your taxes, hold down a good job, etc... the asst D.A. and the courts should be pretty lenient.

I just got my first possession ticket not too long ago. 400$ ticket for .4. And I got a nice 2 hour interrorgation.

Bullshit.

Lucky for me, it is decriminalized.

Ill try to get you a few bucks. I stopped paying all my legal fees/taxes anyway so if I can help this place (or you personally for what its worth) out I may as well.

Its amazing how far that extra 34% goes.

you know we have around where i live unmarked volvo T5s (Police Cars) yesterday evening, i saw one of these Bacon machines, he had stopped a Motorcycle for speeding, i presume,i said to the wife why would an unmarked cop car stop a motorcycle,then i realized, it's all about getting revenue in,and what pisses me off is WE are grossly short of Police to protect us,yet we have hundreds patrolling and waiting for INNOCENT motorists to cross the bastard line, This bit is for the USA friends,and my Brtitish side will confirm,if they got caught with that pipe (What was found on the boat with Jason) the coppers would not even bother,to much trouble and to much paperwork,and it would not get to court,However when there is CASH to be had Bingo, you are fucked.

Basically, the cop was gonna let me go (and he told me this) but he wanted to pop the other guy for everything he could since he was being such a prick about the whole thing.

Since they grabbed him for possession, they went ahead and took me too since I was also there and also had the pipe. They didn't want a situation of him getting a lawyer and getting out of it because he was popped while i was not.

They actually stayed on the boat for almost 2 hours debating whether or not to arrest me as well.

This is one particular case where I am not pissed with the popo for busting me. Had I been in there shoes with a belligerent prick mouthing off at me for nothing at all, I'd bust his fucking ass too. The way he acted was totally unnecessary seeing as how the cop was initially being VERY nice about the whole situation.

He basically was just trying to be a hard ass and I had to pay for it as well.

No worries though, my time/probation will end soon enough and then some beat down is heading his way.

Well, after he gets outta prison anyway. He's facing 3 charges that carry up to 10 years in prison. Seeing as how he talked as much shit as humanly possible to 5 different cops, I doubt he'll get any compassion in court.

Talked to the solicitor today and i think he's gonna let me slide with a conditional discharge. Meaning that I do my 6 months probation and the charges are dropped against me.

For the most part, cops are pretty much the same across the board. Comply with them and things DO go easier. It's when we come across those 'assholes' that 'had a bad day' or are on some goddamn 'powertrip' or another. Those are the ones we don't want to cross swords with.

All the same I hold out hope. I remember juryroll... it was alot like this but with less socks less douchebaggery... Freespeech was the motto there too. So when i see someone else went outta their way to make a real freespeech CT site I want to do all I can to help it flurish part of that means trying to snag back old members ..to me at least....
