This is apparently footage of a 1966 aerial clip. I remember seeing this around not only online but on the tube ages ago.

The way I see it, the older a film is, the harder to CGI manipulate to get to the standards that we see today. Not saying it's entirely impossible, but harder to do nonetheless. Probably why I mull over and relish these types.

Tasty little morsel anyone?

I have to agree. Also the older UFO books are still relevant for the same reasons. Keyhoe, Adamski, Frank Edwards, Albert Bender... great stuff.

Reflection of object within cabin, distorted by curvature of transparent cockpit surface?

Object dissolves as camera moves closer, destroying illusion.

Not unlike the optical effect created by this device. (http://www.innovatoys.com/p/MIRAGE)

I don't suppose you've toyed around in the film industry, have you?

Smite.

Need to work on my sense of pacing... short on patience; always want to sneak a peak at the last page...
