[offsite:b6r3ltl1]An MP has used parliamentary privilege to accuse the British intelligence service of "outsourcing torture".

Former Shadow Home Secretary David Davis cited the case of Rangzieb Ahmed, from Rochdale, who was jailed for life for being an al-Qaeda planner.

Mr Davis told the House of Commons that intelligence services had allowed Ahmed to go to Pakistan.

Once there, they alerted Pakistani authorities who arrested him and tortured him, parliament was told.[/offsite:b6r3ltl1]

Another dirty little secret of Britain's role in the War of Terror, where the self styled 'good guys' get exposed having done decidedly bad things.

Nice of David Davis to show the balls to expose this disgraceful shit, but I must say, I don't expect this move will lead to any action. Of any kind.

I would of course, like to be proven wrong. Not holding my breath though

Labor has taken a fucking beating this year and to have Blair start answering questions might have knock-on effects on Brown's government.

That shit is held together with tape and rubberbands as it is.

Looks like it was precipitated by this story.
