I took my kids to a revolutionary war fort (Ft Mackinac)... this afternoon, we'll be reading em the Declaration...
Don't forget what you're celebrating...
The 4th is supposed to be a reminder to keep ourselves free of tyrannical rule...
Observe history... not holiday celebrations.
