I thought I'd do a thread on this before Warlord does one using an unlinked Israeli source.
[offsite:1pg0ck4i]Some UK embassy staff detained in Tehran and accused of inciting protests after disputed elections will face trial, a top Iranian cleric says.
Guardians Council chief Ahmad Jannati said: "Naturally they will be put on trial, they have made confessions."
Nine embassy staff were held in Tehran last weekend. Britain says all but two have now been freed.[/offsite:1pg0ck4i]

While I wouldn't be shocked for an instant were the claims made against these people accurate, this stinks to high heaven of scrambling for scapegoats to help the Iranian Government 'explain' why their people were so angry.
However, this IS the BBC, so... lol
