Im completely fed up with AT&T and would love to get rid of my phone. I cant afford the contract anymore and I need to be able to pay a cancellation fee soon so they do fuck me with a whole bunch of other fees.
I had water damage on my phone and made an insurance claim. I just received the new one, out of the box but brand new. It still has all the factory stickers and things on it. Its a cool phone when you have the internet. It allowed me to visit Amkon all day instead of work :) but now that Im not working as much I cant afford it and Its kinda pointless.
[inmg=left:1gosyz8e]http://www.windowsmobilecool.com/wp-content/uploads/incite_front_landscape1.jpg[/inmg:1gosyz8e] The phone is the LG incite. I think it goes for about 375 new w/o contract. Im asking 175 (for you guys)only to cover my fees. Its touchscreen, gps, internet and a windows mobile 6.1 phone.
I have it listed on CL but its moving kinda slow and Id rather not get ripped off at this point. Id throw a hissy fit.
Absolutely no pressure. I just thought Id pass on a nice deal to all my friends here. If it really comes down to it ill tell Att to fuck off and send me to a collection agency.
Oh yea....I have a bunch of cool programs for it on a 4gb micro sd card. I can also unlock it for use with any GSM based cellular service.
I really hate to try and sell any of you guys anything but maybe it will jive...who knows.
i get supplied a work phone....boring old nokia but it doesn't cost me a cent.
hopefully someone else might be interested.

Did you like the Incite? I wasn't all that pleased with the size and screen resolution.
I'm drooling over the new Nokia N97 right now... I'm not a fan of Symbian S60 phones but this one isn't bad.
http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_n97-2615.php
They've even stopped calling it a "phone" and correctly termed it a "mobile computing device".
Push apps and live streaming FlashLite video? Fuck the iPhone...

That N97 looks really cool. Actually, now that Im looking at those Symbian phones all of them look cool.
I like the Incite. The screen is small. I was disappointed but after I installed the touchflo2d interface it worked great. Im kinda bummed I have to get rid of it. Its a windows phone so there are alot of programs and reg. edits and other cool stuff. The call quality is awesome, better then the HTC fuze. My old man has one and hates it (the htc). I have Flash lite video too.
what do you mean push apps?
Thanks mojo :) Its sucks cuz this is my work phone. I got a nice one since it was a tax deduction. Turns out that no one wants to spend money on granite counter tops right now. Gotta start making cuts. I see the ripple getting worse. The times between big amounts of work are becoming further apart. People are cancelling orders and not calling until late because of their embarrassment. Im still sticking by my opinion that the bailout $$ should have been split between all the citizens. If we all got an extra $27,000 everything would be allllll goooood

Push apps work like Blackberry's and the new Palm Pre.
Basically it means that they are "always connected" to the service provider ("push") so your phone doesn't do incremental periodic updates ("pull").
It allows for true multi-tasking as applications are constantly updated as long as the phone is on.
I like the Windows Mobile platform simply for the development capabilities. I have a full copy of VS2008/MSSQL2008 which has the complete developmental suite for WM6, including the compact database format. Not having to learn a new coding framework is simply invaluable. Also the fact that all I need to do to create a text message "server" is plug the thing into a PC and run the proper application is pretty damn wicked.
It's just a shame that the phones that run WM6 are so under-featured.
What were your dad's complaints with the Fuze? I thought the Touch Pro looked pretty damn nice even if the camera tech was a little long in the tooth.

He was having dropped calls and terrible reception wherever he went. He had them replace it a few times and it didnt help. He ended up going though quite a few ROMs before he was happy with one.
The incite has the same processor as the fuze actually. The specs dont say do but if you run a diagnostics on the phone it says 528mhz. There are a few problems to clock it at the right speed. My dad and I traded phones for a day and We both agreed that the incite, after abit of moding, was a nicer phone. The lag on the camera is terrible on the fuze. Coming from pro Canon cameras I deemed it utterly unusable.

3.2MP is pretty weak anyway... I'm surprised that the application was that slow, though. You'd think that it would be one of the more streamlined apps given it's a base function of the phone.
I've had a Sidekick 3 for 2 years and I'm going to take a baseball bat to it Office Space style in October when my contract is up. It's so proprietary that it's unmodable by normal humans. There are some super-geeks online that had some success but I'm not going to risk trashing my cellphone and incurring the wrath of my wife when I ask for the cash to replace it. :)
Not to mention I live on the lee-side of a mesa and I can't get a single bar in my house, even after adding an amplifier. I had Verizon previously and never had less than 3 bars, 4 bars with an amplifier.
I can't tell if it's the Sidekick or T-Moblie that's a piece of shit, but I'm going back to Verizon or Sprint as soon as humanly possible.

Na...My credit score is about 4 so the collection agency can go fuck themselves. It will be the smallest of all my bills.
I found some lady on craigslist to transfer 375 into my paypal account today. 225 for phone and 150 for shipping to fuckin Nigeria. I guess its supposed to be verified and blah blah-safe- so well see what happens. Hopefully its legit.
Get the N97 cog. That thing looks bad ass...
Whoops...the boy just spilled the rest of my protein shake all over himself.
Adios. :)
