Is he the 'false prophet' in Revalations?

Whether those who think that the bible is a pile of rubbage or not, there are those who seek to 'self fufill' prophecies.

Remember the strange "Star Sighing" (http://www.shareintl.org/maitreya/Ma_starsign.htm) earlier on this year? Hell...I even saw this strange phenomenom as well. Was curious as to what it was. People were trying to explain it away - left and right - but in the end, it was 'inconclusive'. Some said it was 'Venus', some said it was a 'supernova' (how they figured THAT one out...dunno?). In any event...VENI VIDI VICI - "Came, saw, and conqured".

Apparently this 'Maitreya' is supposed to be the 5th incarnate(?) of Buddha.
