[offsite:4alhm8np]U.S. Technology Being Used Against U.S. Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan Because of Lax Export Controls

Technology that is legal to buy and sell within the U.S. but is illegal to export because of its potential military applications has been used to build weapons deployed against U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan because of loose export controls, according to a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report issued last week.

Why would a right-wing news source be advocates of restricting free commerce?

Hmmm...

Its ok, the US military has a program called "stop-loss" they like to pull on soldiers going home. The supply of fodder for the grinder is almost never ending, and it will increase even more as the economy continues to tank.

I was a soldier in the infantry in the 60's and believe me the stop loss situation with the U.S.soldiers is a Fucking outrage, when a soldier has a date to come home that date should not be allowed to change,in the meantime in the extended period a soldier gets killed to me that is totally wrong for the soldier and his Death could have been avoided ,i was in Aden we had a date about 6 weeks before returning to the UK we never had a stop loss situation, its all wrong, the U.S.politicians should kill the stop loss policy.NOW. :projectile:
