And maybe Germany, (http://www.javno.com/en-world/israel-and-germany-say-united-against-nuclear-iran_132679) I don't know.
Found this though:
Group seeks to pressure Iran on nukes
A non-profit group’s aim to pressure U.S. policymakers to work harder and faster on the Iran nuclear issue is moving to the airwaves.
United Against Nuclear Iran is running a 30-second ad on MSNBC, FOX News and CNN that says “a nuclear-armed Iran is unacceptable.”
President Barack Obama said in his inaugural address on January 20 that, “We will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist” and has been making diplomatic overtures to Tehran that so far have not been reciprocated.
The ad said the Iranian people should reciprocate to Obama’s offer.
United Against Nuclear Iran is run by Mark Wallace, who had a U.N. ambassadorial position under President George W. Bush.
Rueters Blogs | Front Row Washington | Group seeks to pressure Iran on nukes (http://blogs.reuters.com/frontrow/2009/06/10/group-seeks-to-pressure-iran-on-nukes/)
Run by corporate lawyer Mark Wallace.
Check this, from their website:
Ambassador Wallace served as General Counsel of the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) where he oversaw and managed all aspects of the FEMA Office of General Counsel and the FEMA-led New York and World Trade Center recovery effort in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
During the 2004 Presidential campaign, Ambassador Wallace served as the Bush-Cheney ’04 Deputy Campaign Manager where in addition to his day-to-day responsibilities of assisting in the management of the national campaign, Ambassador Wallace was the campaign’s lead liaison to the Republican National Convention, the campaign’s representative in debate negotiations, and he led the campaign’s debate team at each of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential debates.

Oh yeah...sterling reputation.
Here's the view from the other side:
"United Against Nuclear Iran" is LYING about Iran's nuclear program
So it didn't take long before the "United Against Nuclear Iran" organization I mentioned in my last post showed what sort of organization it is. Of course I am not in the least bit surprised that they're lying through their teeth about Iran's nuclear program but I just wonder whether the media or ISIS and all the other media-appointed "expert think tanks" who have thus far made a living out of casting suspicion on Iran will step up to the plate and correct the claims promoted by "United Against Nuclear Iran" too -- but don't hold your breath.
Basically, the same people who lied to you about WMDs in Iraq have started lying about Iran's nuclear program.

We found WMDs in Iraq, didn't we? Oh wait, nevermind.
They should be free to pursue nuclear energy, where the fuck do we get the Constitutionality to police the globe?
my thought exactly.
the only reasonable reason i can think of is that the US wants to keep them living in less than ideal conditions to forment unrest amongst the Iranian population.
many countries that are pursuing nuclear energy are doing so because of the energy crisis within their countries, don't allow them to achieve cheaper cleaner energy and their populations will remove the government.

many countries that are pursuing nuclear energy are doing so because of the energy crisis within their countries, don't allow them to achieve cheaper cleaner energy and their populations will remove the government. The reason is simpler than that. Israel perceives a nuclear Iran as an existential threat and their Neocon friends control American foreign policy. Shouldas and couldas and maybes aside- that's reality.

LOL I didn't realize that pack... this whole Iran Nuke thing is incestuous as hell. Check this out....
Global Business Coalition (GBC) on HIV/AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis
Burson-Marsteller is a proud member of the Global Business Coalition, which mobilizes the business community in support of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Burson-Marsteller is committed to the mission of finding solutions in the fight against deadly diseases impacting the developing world.
Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
In January 2000, when the United States was in the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council, Ambassador Holbrooke held an unprecedented meeting of the Security Council to discuss AIDS in Africa.[18] No Security Council session in the history of the UN had ever been devoted to a health issue prior to this historic meeting. Vice President Al Gore presided over the Security Council and declared that AIDS was a security threat to all nations.[19]
Upon leaving the UN a year later, Holbrooke took over a nearly moribund NGO that was intended to mobilize businesses and corporations in the fight against AIDS. At the time, it had 17 members. Over the next six years, Holbrooke turned this organization – originally called the Global Business Council on HIV/AIDS – into a worldwide organization with over 225 members.[20] It expanded to include malaria and tuberculosis and is now known as the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. It is now the official focal point for mobilizing the business community in support of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and has grown into an important part of the ongoing war against these three diseases.[21]
What else is BM into?
Wait... A PR firm named "BM"? Is that some kind of inside joke?
Jesus you can't make this shit up.
without exception I have found the conditions of the "troubled" countries that I have travelled in to bare no resemblance at all to the picture painted by whatever super-power involved would have you believe , ...needless to say the 3rd world countries in respect of this were unfortunate to have large mineral reserves and/or were of strategic geographical importance....... the super-powers are cunts :pound:

You know to the members who believe Iran should have Nuclear Weapons doe's not make sense to me,we are losing soldiers to Islamic beliefs we are fighting to give these people a better way of life, and PLEASE do not tell me its all down to the U.S.A. I say that IF Iran allows their Nuclear Power stations to be monitored i have no problem with Iran having the Nuclear power,BUT when they will not allow monitors that tells me they cannot be trusted, also its the problem of that newly elected leader who has said wipe Israel from the face of the Earth who the FUCK wants to trust a nutcase like that, another thing is if an Islamic country gets the Nuclear bomb (we know Pakistan has it and you saw the reaction from Obama when Al Quaida started on the road to islamabad immediate action ) and was able to get that bomb to the U.S.A. and detonate it lets say New York, who do we blame the Islamic Nutcases or the people who say Iran should be able to have a Nuclear Power, thats why Iran cannot and should not have Nuclear Power unless its MONITORED,for Fucksake some people do need to be aware of the catastrophic consequences, and thats another good reason whether you folks in the states like it or not the U.S.A. Has to police the world and its a FUCKING good job, because noboddy else can do that LOUZY job.

Has to police the world and its a FUCKING good job, because noboddy else can do that LOUZY job. That's a point well taken and America accepted that challenge over the course of the years. The problem is that Ameica is far from perfect and the policing paradigm has often morphed into a matter of securing markets for our most reactionary and greed driven elements. It has led us into illegal invasions and unjust repression designed to secure foreign resources for the benefit of the ruling capitalists. That is Reaganism/Bushism in a nutshell. This seems to be changing with the accession of Obama but he's in power for only 4 or possible 8 years.

It's allright Warlord... You're fairly new at this :P

Then you'll start to realize the nationalistic pride you may or may not have has been engineered by the powers...

but when the curtains open, you'll never be the same. That's bit patronizing, arrogant and insulting. Don'tcha think?

Me thinks that "we" dont want Iran to pursue nuclear energy, because it would show the rest of us oil-dependent couch-dogs that there is something more out there than good ol fossil fuels..
Imagine, one of the bigger oil producing areas in the world pushing dope, er, oil on us and they arent even using it??!!
But I may be wrong, and have been.
Just another idea to share.
And kinda gives another opportunity to bully a mid-eastern country to conform, watch them ,and run in there to save the day and spread greed, er, democracy while securing the weaklings.. er, populace...know what I mean?
It is too deep to just be about the fear of converting used uranium/plutonium..blah blah.
