What the fuck is it with certain folks in these boards?
Some of us can get a good thread rolling, talking decently to each other, and making some 1/2 decent valuable (if entertaining) points to the discussion. When all of a sudden some know-it-all dickwad troll comes in and throws everything into a loop. And for what reason?
I'm all for free discussion and light-hearted humor, however, some idiots like to feel better about themselves by trying to drag others down to their level. Always trying to be right. Always got to get in the last word edgewise. Always the name-caller. Always someone who jumps the gun and acts out negatively.
I've once heard someone on these boards claim that they use forums as 'stress relievers'. And that they are the opposite of what they are in RL, but let out their yin-yangs in the forums. Fine. So be it. The problem I have with that, is wondering just how many people are Jeckle and Hydes in the real sense. If a puter wasn't around for these people, how would they 'let loose' their anger? So many people go around with a chip on their shoulders it's not fit. It's natural to feel anger; everybody does. Why take it out on others?
These are just pixels that you all are reading. But interactive ones at that.
I don't give a goddam shit if people like what I have to say or not. And so it is with the dickwads as well. The difference being between my not giving a shit and the fucktards that troll boards to single out people, is that I only attack others when I'm being attacked. I don't feel the need to go on any rampage unless (anyone that's reviewed my posts will know this of me) some asswipe starts flinging around their shit in the first place. The fuckturds out there are on some little personnal quest of their own, and feel the need to 'drive it home' every chance they get.
When you read my words in here, you'd probably think that my poor wittle heart was broken. Perish the thought. :P I'm showing you guys that it's more along the lines of a mosquitoe bite than anything. Itchy, Irritable, and deserving of a good smacking! That's how you treat fuckers like that. You swat them off, and get bigger flyswatters.
There are two worlds that gungho puter enthusiasts live in: RL and on a pixel screen. Some douchbags can't discern between them.
When I come to the boards with a few thoughts, You guys can either take'em or leave'em. Just like anyone else's posts.
If anyone has a beef with me, I'd appreciate that they'd take it to PM. This way we're not polluting the boards with strife and menial tripe. I don't ask for fuckin much. Just a suggestion.
I'd like to see this forum grow further. More members. More contributions.
It aint gonna happen if we're continually bickering with one another.
Potential future members are either going to look at our site and see a bunch of fuckin whiners and pit bulls clashing it out, and be deterred by the whole faction, or they just might sign up to join our rat race to join in on the clashing. We get back what we put out. Simple as that.
I don't mind getting a few of my own jabs out there the odd time. I'd be lying if I said otherwise. Just have to time it right and center ourselves with a bit of couth is all.
