Amazing how the board of directors is chocked full of representatives from these 8 companies and their subsidiaries... That'll give you something to think about next time you see the (AP) next to a story...

Now, with 8 companies giving you what you're allowed to see/hear/read... and Writing the news... does it seem viable that any media of any form will go against the best interests of these groups?

I just thought I'd post this information, in a way to make up for my lack of posting the last week or so :P I've been balls deep in research...

This is still continuing research into my theories on propaganda... feel free to contribute if you see something I missed...

Basically, this information is worthless... until you start drawing the connections between the media outlets, and their non-media interests...

For example: Newscorp is owned by Rupert Murdock, who happens to be on the Board of Directors for Phillip Morris (Marlboro cigs).

CBS is related to Westinghouse Electric, who has strong holdings in the energy/Nuclear Power world...

There's also something to be said for these companies and politics...

GE, who owns NBC, donated $479,454 to Obama's Election Campaign in 2008...

Time Warner: $547,951

Do you think a station who's parent company makes the top 20 list for campaign contributions is going to fairly report on the candidates?

Even more interestingly:

From Obama's income report:

On January 9, 2009, Barack Obama executed an amendment to his previously disclosed, December 2004 Agreement with Crown Publishing Group. Under this agreement, a non-fiction work, the subject to be determined, would not be delivered during his term in office and the schedule for any future book publications would be accordingly revised.

On January 15, 2009, Barack Obama Approved a $500,000 advance against royalties under an agreement between Crown Publishing Group, a Division of Random House, Inc., and Random House Children's Books, for an abridged version of Dreams From My Father suitable for middle grade or young adult readers, as proposed by the publisher in 2008. Royalties for the book are 15% of the U.S. Sales Price for hardcover book sales; 7.5% to 10% of the U.S. price for trade paperback book sales, 10% of the U.S. price for the mass-market paperback book sales, and other standard royalties.

My opinions are MINE!!! Oh wait.... didn't somebody sell me this language I'm speaking?

Didn't somebody sell me the idea of the color, red?

Didn't somebody sell me on the notion that those big broccoli looking things coming out of the ground are trees?

So... what's left of you when you strip away all the things you've been force-fed by different forms of "media"?

What's REALLY you? Do YOU really exist, or did somebody also sell you on the idea of "I am"?

It's a big scary realization when you notice that everything you know has been pre-packaged for you...

I just found it a little shocking that all media came down to about 8 companies...

Not just TV... but Music, Newspapers, Textbooks, books, and even comic books...

all from 8 companies...

edit: 8... not 7... sigh...

Media, advertising dollars. This is why the internet is a problems for them.

Could it be the McCain was heavily backed by those who didn't want regs in the financial market place. We see what that got us. But then Obama etal came through with the bail out bucks anyway. They got their money.

pack3tg0st
06-03-2009, 09:58 AM
Yah, the internets could be a problem for them...

But thats why I included AT&T and such...

They will figure out a way... they've already castrated ATS...

Propaganda 2.0 is alive and well...

Case in point: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2009/jan/09/israel-foreign-ministry-media

we know that the Israeli foreign ministry itself is orchestrating propaganda efforts designed to flood news websites with pro-Israel arguments and information.

Great work, Pack. All that oxycotin must have had an effect! The noise machine is designed for the purpose of making it ever more difficult to think outside the Borg. But you're proving that resistance is not futile.

Thanks BE...

Sadly, It only bears fruit if people will listen... But with them having the monopoly on information...

Anyway, I'm prepared to throw myself into the gears if it will make them stop... sadly, i'm not sure that anyone will ever be afforded the chance.
