His true inclinations became distinct before his (s)election; witness the vote permitting the telecoms to slip the hook.
"Pissed" doesn't even begin to describe...

He wasn't elected.
None were, after the 'Nam.
They are chosen.
Sad that more don't understand
that.

[offsite:3oj08idn]All political power is primarily an illusion…. Illusion. Mirrors and blue smoke, beautiful blue smoke rolling over the surface of highly polished mirrors, first a thin veil of blue smoke, then a thick cloud that suddenly dissolves into wisps of blue smoke, the mirrors catching it all, bouncing it back and forth.

Let's..... not say anything for fear of prolonged detention. Because we're all "terrorists" to the government's eyes. Why? Because the government knows we don't need it and that it, in all it's various forms and alter egos across the world, it is all about only one thing. Taking your ability to govern yourself away from you and instead steering you in some unkown direction which is called "progress" but which always ends up looking a hell of a bit more like destruction and controlled chaos than progress.
We are ALL targets. I think that, If I fear anything the most, I fear what hidden behemoth may lumber out of the shadowlands the day humanity regains its sense of self.
What has been wearing us like camoflauge?

I can't help but think that in 2009 our military simply could not be convinced into such contrivance for very long.
Initially, sure... but after a while... We're not Nazi's. We question our leaders and their orders.
Kent State already happened.
History repeats itself but rarely within the same generation.
