Here's a fun thing I thought people might like to do...
Was thinking of grabbing a book from my collection, send it to one of our members here, they can sign it, read it, and pass it on to another member, and so on.
Imagine all the members writing in the book, and how far it will have travelled around the world? :shock:

Its funny you mention that Ducky, I've been saying to kiwi that wouldn't it be fun if we did the "gnome thing" but I was going to make a "little big planet" doll, as lighter for postage and send that round to all that would like to get into it, take photo's of travels etc, dress different way or just add, add on's to your own liking, see what state the poor thing gets in, just a different take on your idea . . . what do you think??? Crap or ok? :)

Well I've been looking for something thats just right for you two,BE . . . I hunted high and low for a pattern on waldorf and slater, as I thought they be perfect, but no luck so far . . . . now I'm looking at topsy turvy ones, plus I've found quite a selection of sackboys . . . all knitted, so I'll have to get my brain into gear as I haven't knitted for over 20yrs, so it in the making kiwi will have final say . . . . but I like the sackboy idea as they have a zip up the front thaqt could be loaded with messages . . . .I'll put some pic on so you know what I'm talking about . . . :)
