I see the soul as a term for the energy of life force and awareness. Not what most people would define it, those with a religious perspective.

I would imagine that the infinite mind which created this interesting array of bells and whistles would have thought that living only one lifetime would suck ass. Why wouldn't there be a soul? Why wouldn't there be a place where modern man and dinosaur clash? Why wouldn't there be Cthulhu on a throne of blood? Sure to all of it. It's all true as much as it is false. Laugh at reality. It's really funny.

I think homingpigeon described my viewpoint pretty well.
i only voted yes because you didnt have an "other" option.
i think that there is a certain energy that is released upon death, whether this is a soul or not i dont know.
i'm a spiritual atheist.....:)

I think we do, it's more or less our consciousness, what is truly us or essence I think is a better word.
Is it eternal? I'd like to think so.
How exactly does it work and why? Not a damn clue.
Do we need to kiss some creator dieties ass in order to keep it? Hell no.

Id say no because we are organic matter.
I do believe though that the universe works as one, connecting all.
I just dont think its a soul in a traditional scene, more omnipresent.

The soul/spirit is alive and well. Shrooms on a moon lit night will let you know.
I don't think you can sell it to the devil or anything like that.
I do think we can "lose it" and become disconnected with it because of our material world or physical abnormality.
There was a doctor in 1907 that reckons he measured the soul 21 grams. . . . .Dr Duncan Mac Dougall it is in the America Medicine journal. . . . If you google the name wiki got him in there. . . . :)
I beleive that there is a soul. . . . :)

I believe we do... I hope so at least.
I sit back and wonder how many past lives I my have, wonder what planets/places I've been.
And think about how the system works,and why it works the way it does.
Interesting stuff to think about.
