What has our society lost since the 60's? In the 60's, the average citizen felt like they could make a difference. They protested wars and unequal treatment pretty successfully. They made a difference in their world, and pretty much told "the man" to shove it up his ass....

What happened that caused our society to lose that feeling of power and unity? In the last several decades, more and more people feel like they are just pawns... and that their vote doesn't matter...
