In the epic battle of whether or not there are such things as extraterrestrials and UFO's, which has been raging since alcohol and drugs were invented, between believers and non-believers, actual witnesse and hoaxers, information and disinformation agents, real investigators and skeptics, deaman and chorlton, a winner has not emerged.
In view of the facts (or lack of, as the case may be), I present for your perusal, the Top 10 list of 'Close Encounters Caught on Tape', courtesy of msnbc.com.
You decide whethere or not these little gems are real or fake, and, on the basis of what you see, you can decide which position to take, if you haven't aleady...
Before we begin with the proceedings and start taking sides, let's meet the panel who comiled and dismiss this list, namely the investigators (blue corner), along with the skeptics (red corner)...
The investigators
Bruce Maccabee, Ph.D
For nearly 40 years, when he wasn't on the job at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dr. Bruce Maccabee spent his time investigating UFO sightings. Ken Cherry is the State Director of the Texas Branch of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). MUFON is an organization of volunteer UFO investigators. Texas is a hotbed for UFO sightings and Cherry has done his share of investigations. According to him, the Stephenville Lights ranks as one of the most important cases in UFO history in America.
