The previous video was a recordng made by accident for a Discovery Channel program...

Here's an even stranger than fiction story to add to this delightful mystery...

In 1966, on board the Gemini IX spacecraft, two astronauts witnessed a moving, flashing light out of the craft's portals and reported it in. Fortunately for us, Pete Conrad and Dick Gordon, the astronauts on-board took some photos of the object....(0:33)

Look carefully at the pictures, and the description...it appears to be a similar object to the above video!!!

... who's to say that the first video wasn't hoaxed with this information in mind, attempting to replicate the events in an attempt to give it credibility?

There's no video of the object in motion. The physical environments are completely different (assuming one is in the atmosphere and one is not).

Free-form balls of plasma exists naturally in the upper atmosphere under proper conditions. Water condenses on the hull of spacecraft as it leaves orbit, freezes, then breaks off.

There's a 1,000 logical explanations for this that have nothing to do with aliens.
