Nature's coincidence or something else?
I don't see or hear of this all too often. In fact it's just down right rare.
One thought came to mind was Cumulonimbus Clouds (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cumulonimbus). It would suggest that a storm front is not too far off.
However, as you can view by the pic below, there isn't a dark cloud to be had, that would insinsuate any potential storm clashing.
Quite perplexing.
