A sculptor friend of a friend of mine died suddenly not very long ago.
My friend is in charge of emptying his house and moving along his worldly possessions.
I just got given a huge box full of art supplies, sketch pads, poster board, chalk, pencils, oodles of brushes, protractors and compasses and stencils. Couple-three hundred dollars worth of stuff. All of it new.
I wonder if I can use some of the stencils as guides with my graphics tablet? Interesting ideas.
I think this afternoon maybe the kids and I will take the biggest pad (as tall as my son) outside and make a mess painting.
I didn't really even know the artist. I'm touched that I get to give a home to some of his art materials.
