Has anyone looked into the crash and/or landing of a craft in Shag Harbor, Nova Scotia that took place on October 4, 1967?
According to reports, this object streaked across the sky from Siberia, Russia to Canada. The craft, according to witnesses, seemed to be under intelligent control and maneuvered during its decent. This is of course not the behavior of a meteor or satellite on reentry. The speed was estimated at 7700 mph, then slowed to 4400 mph, and slowed down further and splashed down in Shag Harbor. Locals saw the lights and heard the crash, and launched a rescue operation with a few fishing boats (thinking it was a downed plane). The object was glowing on the water, seemed to then go under the surface, and the light was no longer visible. The rescue operation searched for the “plane” but found nothing but a strange yellow foam floating on the surface.
Investigators looking into the case uncovered that the craft seemed to have traveled under the water to Shelburne where US and Canadian Navy Ships sat over the object for seven days. Reports are that navy divers were deployed at both Shag Harbor and Shelburne, and reportedly brought up materials. By then, of course, the cover-up machine was already kicked into gear.
Anyone have an opinion of this incident?
