My DAD....

He's not my real Dad.

He took over, to raising us 3, with my mom.

I concider HIM, my real dad.

Wanna know why?

He was there for me. When I needed someone the most.

In the beginning....he was 'someone' that dated my Ma.

Then he respected my Ma. Didn't hit her or us. He listened to her and us.

He was a Captain Pilot of Canadian Airlines.

*UPDATE*

My Ma has sinced put a 'Depends' diaper on him. They were staying with my brother this last while, and my brother went to go tinkle...just happeend to cross paths with my Dad, in the last while. Dad was pissing ALL over the seat. My brother closed the door (knowing what he'd seen) ...shook his head.

My heart SUNK so low.

Alzheimers doesn't run in our family.

To watch this individual do this....breaks MY HEART.

My grandmother is starting to suffer from this over the past 12 months, it is very difficult to see such strong, wonderful people reduced to relying on everyone for a half decent life during their sunset years, they deserve much more.
