Reality Uncovered, as hypocritical as Sohai?

I found the hypocrisy of some of these posters quite amazing, considering how they bleat about their shabby treatment at Sohai.
Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed many of the posts these guy's made when they were members of Sohai and agreed with their points of view on a number of occasions.
How they plan on Uncovering Reality though is beyond me considering how they seem to be blinkered by their own self importance and also seem to be unaware of their own hypocrisy.

Firstly Access Denied suspended John Lear and Zorgon, not sure why, perhaps free speech is an impediment to their research, remind you of another site. ;)


I've suspended johnlear and Zorgon's accounts for the time being while I get this sorted out…


Fortuanately Lost_Shaman was a voice of reason almost immediately as well as a couple of other members.


I hate that I'm having to say this, but I personally don't see any reason to date for any "suspension" of either account! I'd like to see that action reversed ASAP

Hypocrisy is one thing... we all can be guilty of it without even knowing it. At the risk of repeating of myself it’s the blatant lies and censorship that concern me… from there I don't think it's too much of a stretch to believe the considerable circumstantial evidence that suggests they have been creating and perpetrating hoaxes for fun and profit or worse… willingly and knowingly advancing the agendas of various subversive groups.

I lurked around there the last couple of days....some "recon" if you will...trying to get the flavor of it. Virulently anti-ats. The "yin" to the other site's "yang". They seem prideful of their policy of swearing, thread derailing, and one-line posting. The membership seems to be heavily tilted towards those that feel John Lear's contributions have some merit. That may just be my perception though, I have no genuine idea of the overall ideology.

I registered, haven't posted anything yet. I'm interested in seeing what kind of response I'll get; and watching for an optimal thread to insert my 2 cents.


Apparently we are "virulently anti-ats" even though their forum is "littered with posts about ats" and they have an "ats watch thread". Read some of the threads over there, and we're considered virulently anti-ats? lol.

Well if your waiting for an "optimal thread" to post in you'll probably be treated as a troll if you come in swinging without any attempt to introduce yourself to the membership.

A little bit of research and chorlton would have discovered that one of the most hardcore "sceptic diva's" from ats is an adminstrator of this site.
He could also have easily found numerous posts i had made at ats debunking "alternative history" theories not to mention many of our members rabid debunking of fundamentalists.

Now once again i must add that many of the members there who were also members at ats i found to be intelligent and thought provoking posters even if i didn't always agree with them.

Perhaps i'm being harsh but what's good for the goose i figure is also good for the gander. So we are either fruitcakes or sheeple. At least we do not pretend to be carrying out "serious research" when in reality all their few regular posters do is wander about patting each other on the back and sniffing the air.

Why is swearing a big deal, why is it an argument that should make us feel dirty for expressing ourselves with words that get the point across quicker. Yeah there are alot of words that will work, but somehow fuck you just gets the point across alot quicker, there is no wondering what we are talking about. If someone cough GN cough, derails a thread, then all you have to do is ignore the thread derailing and continue on with what you were discussing. I think most of us here, are people that were the question askers over there, we arent all just believers in whatever so and so says. We do however respect other members and dont call them loonies for stating something they believe to be true, there is a difference between being a skeptic and asking questions, and being an asshole and just an all around miserable human being.

Anyway, whatever everyone is pushing to be the best, it seems to me here we are all just here cause we like talking to eachother. We have no problem at all with de-railing, it adds a bit of fun and humour to otherwise "too serious" topics. I think by breaking it up from time to time it helps to alleviate any tension or anger posters may build up towards each other.
I think (for the most part) were all intelligent enough to be able to get back on topic if the thread is a serious one, after we've all had a bit of fun.

1. Not sure what possible positive purpose this thread (or this subforum for that matter) is supposed to bring. Do we really need a platform for launching board wars? Ok. I'm exaggerating, but this is how those things get started.
2. In fairness to MrPenny, his points are rather valid. We were stuck on discussion about [A..] for a while. Everything else he brought up is actually spot on accurate. That'll be how I'd review it myself. He also took note to state which are opinions of his.
3. Best to address whatever Chorlton brought up there instead of here (which I have). Unless he is just trolling (which may be the case since he is so off base about our relations with John Lear). Personally I think he's just extending his vendetta of Lear to us. You know, guilt-by-association kind of thing. It's no secret he despises JL.
